Welcome to the third level of hell know as a home owners association.
Welcome to the ignorant signing an agreement they don't intend to keep.
There are many of them now crying over their mortgages saying they didn't know what they were really signing.
I choose to give up a new home and pay a bit more even to get a non-HOA neighborhood that was decent.
No one is forced to live in an HOA.
Yea real smart jackass. When you're new to a country and barely know any english right? And cause a car in the driveway or street is sooooooo horrible they should tow and cause problems and money. Shit's prolly not even like this in the north. People from NY go crazy when they hear some of the stuff down here. It's like I'm living in damn socialism (which we tried to escape) guess not. Damnit America, give me my money and let me get out of here.
I live in Michigan and we can't park on most streets. The streets you can park on are mostly odd/even parking most of the year.
I feel for your situation but the language barrier shouldn't be an issue if a lawyer or realtor were involved in the purchase. The thing you have to do is live in the solution. Your only solution right now would be to park on a public street that does allow parking or learn to make due with one car. Do any of your neighbors have a double garage that they would rent a space to you in?
Try to find a solution that works for you, don't dwell on the problem.
