The Heck is Going on with Gas Prices?

I'd kill to pay that much right now 🙂 Remember - tip the pizza guy 🙂

where do you get your stats. NJ has the cheapest gas right now and it's $1.93 by my house so i don't know how the avg could be $1.34

the Costco about 10 minutes from my house in Clifton NJ is $1.72. No one can compete with them, but you have to be a member to get gas there.

Heh, I only paid 1.25 for the gas I've got. I bought a couple of contracts way way back, and I store my gas in tanks outside my house. I typically sell some to the neighbors as well, but at only about 15 cents cheaper than the current price. I make a killing doing it that way - never have paid over 1.25 for gas - that was the most expensive I've paid up until a few months ago. Got an April contract for 1.29 coming in soon...

overnight me some gas will ya? 😉

Mill... wouldn't that gas get old? I know that when I summerize/winterize 2 strokes i have to burn all the gas off cause it goes bad. How do you prevent that from happening?

Bush got re-elected.

huh?

Don't you know? If Kerry had been elected, gas prices would have dropped back below the $1 mark and stayed there for all time.

Dammit, I knew I should have voted for....wait a minute, your kidding, right?

I'm sure like with cars you store, you can add some sort of stabilizer to it...

I just paid $2.24/gallon for 93 here in NH this morning...

DISCLAIMER

Yes, my car requires it...

Like I said, I sell some to neighbors, but I also get it straight from a distributor, so it doesn't sit anywhere for the extra month or so before it typically reaches your regular gas station. Plus, if you use stabilizer in the tanks you can get about 3-6 months out of it. Honestly, I never have run into a problem with it so far. These thanks are airtight, so unlike a 2 stroke engine it isn't being oxidized.

What size are your tanks?
