update: suspect tried to attack officers with a knife after ramming the car and was shot dead. One of two officers has now died from injuries. --he basically drove the two officers into a barrier.

reminds me of that time the desperate failing Trump campaign produced ads showing violent cops attacking citizens in Trump's America, and tried to argue that this is what will happen.....in Biden's America.

That feels like an eternity ago.

My FB feed has been full since January of all the usual suspects crying daily about how bad our country is since he got elected. Fox News keeps them in a perpetual state of up = down.

Many come from blue states, blue counties. The most interesting thing is, however, that a hugely disproportionate number come from counties with declining white populations. It's a significant statistical trend.

When compared with almost 2,900 other counties in the United States, our analysis of the 250 counties where those charged or arrested live reveals that the counties that had the greatest decline in White population had an 18 percent chance of sending an insurrectionist to D.C., while the counties that saw the least decline in the White population had only a 3 percent chance.

This is pretty interesting as I'd think everyone's assumption would be a lot of these seditionists come from deeply red areas all stirred into frothing masses but instead, the data seems to show that they are scared of what the world is turning into around them (an actual melting pot!).

I noticed a news item on CNN "Nearly 40% of Marines have declined Covid-19 vaccine". That tells me that we have at least 40% of the military that are on Trump's side. Sure, that's one way to spin it, but if Trump were to force his way back as QAnon predicts, has predicted, continues to predict, and we have a government takeover, then Trump can probably count on at least 40% of the military siding with the takeover and aligning with the coup. I agree that assumption may be a far stretch, but never rule anything out. And that 40% figure sounds just about right. How does this relate to insurrectionist? Well, Trump could pardon them all after the coup, set them all free as a bird, while the rest of us are suddenly the ones being hunted down and locked up. PS. My niece is 1000% AQnon, and every day she keeps saying JUST WAIT, JUST WAIT. IT WON'T BE LONG, IT WON'T BE LONG. And she was also saying the same only days before January 6th. Doo doo, doo doo. Twilight zone anyone? 😳
