I just had a thought. When all of these "patriots" are convicted of felony charges, they lose their right to vote. It varies on what state they are in as to when the get them back. However they will NOT be able to vote for the orange dipshit in 2024.

Something they ASSumed would never ever happen as a result of supporting their Traitor-in-Chief's efforts at denying the will of the people's right to choose who their leaders are.

Insanity defined as believing every lie that came out of Trump's mouth.

Trump still has ten days to pardon everyone involved. In fact, Trump has ten days to pardon the entire federal prison population. It is within his power to let every federal convict walk, open the prison gates just because. He could pardon just the white guys. Who knows what Trump will do at this point.

January 19th is apparently going to be one giant blizzard of pardons. He’s apparently offering them to random people he barely knows in the White House, even though they haven’t done anything that would require one.

I would bet large sums of money that he pardons his entire family and a bunch of people in the Trump organization. Very high chance he tries to pardon himself too.

If they're using computers to analyze faces and track down regular boring Americans across the country with assloads of cameras it kinda proves them right about government overreach.
On the other hand, I really like the concept that outside of their homes, every American will be held accountable for his actions.

Seattle SPD has needed an enema for 15 years. Why do you think the BLM stuff was so F'd in this city.

an enema doesn't go far enough....and, sorry, Seattle as a whole has needed an enema for decades.

As I understand, Trump can't issue blanket pardons. Short of giving each and every prisoner a named pardon, he'll be limited to pardoning a relatively small group of people.

-OF COURSE THEY HAVEN'T THE DEEP STATE IS NOT GOING TO ARREST THEIR OWN FALSE FLAG PROVOCATURES!

Trying to rationalize with the irrational is an exercise in futility.

No, no...

It was Vampire Jedi ANTIFA Ninjas with mind control powers. They used Jedi Mind tricks to incite the Trump Mob into attacking police, then disappeared in Ninja smoke clouds. None were captured by camera images, because Vampires don't show in mirrors or cameras...

Again, was there a single practical word in there? We should all get in touch with our 'feels'... How enlightened of you.
No need to fret. You were programmed to be ignorant. Not your fault. No condemnation from me; only an offer of insight beyond your willingness to entertain and which you are free to reject. You certainly do have normal on your side but some of us know that normal is programmed sickness.

Plastic Cuffs Guy has been identified and arrested. Maybe next time if you’re gonna dress all tactical while criming... don’t pull down your mask???

A day after the riots, John Scott-Railton, a senior researcher at Citizen Lab, at the University of Toronto’s Munk School, notified the F.B.I. that he suspected the man was retired Lieutenant Colonel Larry Rendall Brock, Jr., a Texas-based Air Force Academy graduate and combat veteran. Scott-Railton had been trying to identify various people involved in the attack. “I used a number of techniques to hone in on his identity, including facial recognition and image enhancement, as well as seeking contextual clues from his military paraphernalia,” Scott-Railton told me. Brock was wearing several patches on his combat helmet and body armor, including one bearing a yellow fleur de lis, the insignia of the 706th Fighter Squadron. He also wore several symbols suggesting that he lived in Texas, including a vinyl tag of the Texas flag overlaid on the skull logo of the Punisher, the Marvel comic-book character. The Punisher has been adopted by police and Army groups and, more recently, by white supremacists and followers of QAnon. Scott-Railton also found a recently deleted Twitter account associated with Brock, with a Crusader as its avatar. “All those things together, it’s like looking at a person’s C.V.,” Scott-Railton said.

No need to identify anyone nor even a crime. Ford pardoned Nixon with no crime specified and Jimmy Carter pardoned all draft dodgers without identifying any of them. Trump can pardon everyone involved in the coup attempt by pardoning "all persons who participated in the events at the capitol on this date." He can pardon all prisoners by pardoning all person convicted of any federal crime between 1900 and the date of the pardon.

The guy in the picture is not the guy in the text. The one in the text was a different guy without a mask. The guy in the picture has been ID'd, not sure what his status is.

I was just going to cite the Carter example, IronWing beat me to it. Trump's good at throwing people under the bus, let's hope the distancing continues.

The disgust on the right is kicking in too slow though. I don't think we're going to see any rightful impeachment and removal short of something monumental happening in the coming few days. Which could happen I suppose, dipshit is probably mad he missed out on executions of bound Democrats and doesn't have a real crisis to take advantage of. The chatter out there indicates his militia fucktards are wanting to try a Round 2, I guess we'll be seeing in the next 11 days if they decide to get froggy again. Now that Trump has lost his tweeting ability, does that take the wind out of his gasbag, or inflate it? We have to hope Trump keeps acting cowed by the overwhelming disgust from the majority of the country. Can we make it through to the inauguration without shit hitting fans?

It is to our enduring shame that this traitor is still staining the office. The price on America has been far too great. So many people in this country don't deserve to be Americans, while hard working decent people who do get treated like animals and have their kids stolen. Going to be sure that my sons understand why republicans make dad puke, why they are expected to be better citizens for their country - regardless of political outlook.

Damn, didn’t realize there was more than one cuffs guy looking to take hostages. Guess there was a real plan somewhere in this mess.
