I cleared it on Medium, 4 and 5 starring everything.. but man, I tried Hard and get my ass kicked. Any tips on that orange fret? It's like.. my hands don't want to work.

When I switched from Medium to Hard back in GH2, it was just practice. I'm to the point now where I don't have to think about it, I can move my hand around without always having to make contact with something, and be fine. My problem now is that the notes come too fast and my fingers can't keep up.

Yea, I asked my friend about it and she said I'll get used to it eventually.. but I'm thinking about it and its mind boggling to even think that I'll get used to it.

I'm told it's easier to have your fingers on the "bottom" four frets not including the green one, because it's easier for your pointer finger to reach for the green one than for your pinky the orange.

That's a lot of retraining for me though.

Same for me. The only thing about that is, there's a much higher percentage of greens than there are oranges, even on hard. I mean much higher. I haven't played hard that much, but I find myself doing the pinky, or just shifting down to play the orange notes that pop up, but normally leave my fingers on the first 4.

I think it depends on what the majority of your friends will be playing it on, so you can play some co-op online. Achievements are a plus, too, if you like to shoot for some of the goals. I know you were a PS3 owner first, so achievements may not do it for you.

I thought I read something that the 360 had online co-op patched into it and the other three consoles don't have it yet? Is this false... my mind playing tricks on me or something? I forget where I read that (could've been in this thread, who knows!) though.

I think the singer is the real star of guitar hero that guy has a voice like no other.

He gives cavemen a good name!

Oh man. I really want to play on hard, but as soon as I see the orange button, it feels like a retard spell is cast on me and I'm screwed. I don't know how I am ever gonna be able to play hard.

I wish some of the tabs for medium were a little harder though. They are so easy that I am playing notes that aren't there and it's screwing me up, like at the end of Knights of Cydonia, I keep stumming 4 times instead of 3 cause im too familiar with that song. And I can't go to hard because of the retard spell. Dammit...

And is anyone having the same issues with online as me? Out of the 17 attempts at connecting to an online game, I finally got in a 2 song face-off, but on the first song, as soon as it loaded it said TIE, moved to the second song, and froze. Guess I'll just forget about online till they fix it.

Sometimes I'll hit the strum bar for no reason at all... I'm too used to DDR where you can just step and it doesn't matter (as long as you don't step on the wrong arrow... so if there's nothing to be hit and you step, no biggie).

Great song though. Getting to that song was the whole reason I stayed up late last night (when I had to work at 6am)... and then I went back and 5-starred it today! I wish they'd put some other Muse songs in there like Map of the Problematique, Futurism or Assassin.

That song has probably my favorite guitar riff ever, I have it as my ring tone. And it pwns me on medium. I am terrible

Dude, if you even COMPLETE that song on hard, you're definitely the man! I can't even come close to completing it on easy. :( It's just freakin' ridiculous!
