There are still plenty of bugs with the website. It didn't show my favorite venue or guitar today. Actually, they showed up immediately after I played a "Ranked Match" for the first time. Maybe you could try that for the heck of it if you haven't played one, yet.

C'mon Sochl members, let's push for No. 1!

Hey look, Mr. 4th-Page-on-the-Leaderboard over here wants to rally the troops! :p

Of course, I kid. I've been getting paid to work at home since the start of October so my groupie total is naturally higher... because the Expert difficulty is "WORK".

Here are the rules for getting Groupies again (down the page a bit) - Note that you get a ton of groupies just for trying new songs on each difficulty level, that includes the ~20-30 bonus songs. So get to it, gents.

Hey! I got youth football season to finish up then I'll be rockin' til the sun comes up. Actually, tonight I'm going to buy the Foo Fighters DLC, so that should get me some points. Plus, I haven't touched medium and easy yet. I just can't get myself to go back to the easy stuff.

There's nothing wrong with the 4th page! A much easier way to get groupies would be to spam everyone's blogs with comments of course that would be abusing the system....

Right now I'm pretty confident I'll never beat hard nevermind expert. My fingers don't move fast enough.

I know what you mean about medium and easy. I tend to play 3 or 4 Hard/Expert songs and then my fingers will need a break. So instead of stopping I just drop it down to Medium or Easy and hopefully I'll eventually finish them without getting bored out of my mind.

Just invite a friend over who isn't very good and have him play the game on Easy for you ;).

Turn on lefty flip and play it that way. It's a lot harder, and there's an achievement for playing a difficulty lefty and righty.

No wonder there are fewer PS3 players. Went into CC yesterday for GOW and walked by the console section. They had stacks of GH2 and 3 for the 360. Next aisle had stacks of GH2 and 3 for PS2. Not a single PS3 bundle to be seen.

On related news, anyone know if any console comparison reviews have made it online? So far the only ones I've seen have made at most a passing mention to any differences.

After playing a lot on Hard, going back to Medium - which I thought was somewhat hard itself - seems like a walk in the park.

I'm stuck on tier 7 in hard though. The slipknot song is killing my hand, and I can't get past the part in Knights where it's basically 1 minute worth of pull offs. Any tips for an uncoordinated noob?

I'm doing medium still too. Slipknot isnt too much of a problem for me, probably because that's probably my favorite song they do so I'm very familiar with it... my problem is Knights in the exact spot you're stuck on... my hand starts to cramp up very quickly. Oh, and Raining Blood is stupid hard.

That is where I am. I've beat everything else in the tier but still have that one. Honestly I left it to work on last because i hate slipknot. I just need to practice it more but i couldn't pass it in like 1 hour 30 min of trying last night.

Oh no I'm stuck doing the Slipknot & Muse songs on hard. It's retarded. It took me awhile to get beat Knights on medium.

I can't even do Slipknot on hard is slow practice mode

Yeah, my CC didn't get in a single PS3 bundle until today. I bought their only one.

I finally got past Slipknot this morning, but now I can't get past any of the songs on the last set. :( Raining Blood and One are unbelievably hard.

the net code in this game is horrible.. I cant connect to any quick match ever. when I play vs friends who host, the sync between music and notes gets screwed up all the time. Ugh.

the online for me actually has been pretty decent on the Wii. Although I can only play if i create a match and wait for someone to connect to me, can never just randomly connect to someone elses game.

Sounds like its not that decent :) Last nite, I was playing One vs one of my friends, they invited me to the game. About 1/2 way through, the game just slowed down and sped back up to normal speed (the music stayed the same), but didnt catch up with itself... my notes were literally a good second behind the music... I was still holding my own and winning until I hit about 3/4 when visual playing just wasnt working and I started to lose... then out of nowhere, the console completely locked up.

Lags offline? There's a setting to adjust that if you're having that big of a problem.
