Greatness is usually defined by statistics. So at one time Frampton Comes Alive was one of the greatest albums ever. I believe Stairway has been played more than any other song ever...wouldn't that qualify? What's the most recognizable? Mozart's twinkle twinkle little star (or whatever it's called)? How about Pachelbel's Canon? Beethoven's Fifth? I think those three would be considerd far better than anything recorded in the past century.

and Hashpipe is a much beter song than buddy holly. They have like 15 songs by elvis, a good twenty between the beetles, john lennon and paul mc Cartney, about 20 by the rolling stones, etc.

And what's "Hey Ya" doing on there? :Q

I'd say Mozart's Requiem. Seeing as how it wasn't on the list, I'm going to have to go with Beethoven's Ninth.
