I know somebody mentioned in the other thread that they heard it on the radio in LA, but didn't say what channel.

On my way back from running errand, I heard it on 97.1 FM, Amp Radio in LA.

it's up to 50m hits...

BUT ONLY 97% THUMBS UP WTF!

Who in the fuck thumbs it down?

Huh, apparently the music video is supposed to be a pretty dark piece of social commentary about South Korean society:

Some of the lyrics make a helluva lot more sense now (especially the part about the coffee, that was wtf)

That is an aspect that did come across even if I couldn't understand the specifics (like the coffee, well I'll be honest most of the words).

That's also the difference between this and American pop and I do think helps explain my earlier confusion about why I find this awesome but similar US pop annoying and uninteresting. There's an ego to American pop, even when its trying to come off as silly fun crap like LMFAO that this video just plain doesn't have.

That or maybe I'm just blustering a bunch of BS.

The NFL should get PSY to do the Super Bowl halftime show this year. He'll do better than most of the washed-up has beens they've been getting to do it the last few years.

We've already had a Superbowl halftime show this year.
