"I hope he makes us burn our pants. These are really chaffing me"

Then later:

"What about pants? Don't you hate pants?"

Fourth grade???

OMFG I feel so damn OLD!!!

That episode came out in 93 or 94. I was married and out of the army already!

Anywho, I laughed on that one for HOURS! Anyone notice how in reruns, they've cut much of that scene out??? I wonder why?

I remember that was the episode that got The Simpson's banned in our house. I think it was all the swearing as homer fell down the canyon.

Every day at school, we'd break for an hour at 5:30 for two simpson's reruns on the local FOX channel. That show is great.

Favorite episode has to be the one where Homer gets a new job "managing" at the supervillian's power plant. When he trips the superagent (Bond) and the guards shoot him, I think I fell out of my chair.

Close second are ANY of the halloween specials. Those are excellent.

I wish there was some way to get EVERY simpsons episode on DVD. It'd be an assload of DVD's (and money), but itd be worth it.

Scully: Now, we're going to run a few tests. This is a simple lie
detector. I'll ask you a few yes or no questions and you just
answer truthfully. Do you understand?
Homer: Yes.
[the polygraph explodes]

Great moment

Bart: Buy me bone storm or go to hell!
Marge:....(insert mom comment here) cost up to and including 70 dollars.
Bart: Those are all real good points but none of them result in me getting the game.
Homer: bart, when i was young, the thing i wanted the most in the world was an electronic football game and one day my parents bought it for me and it was the happiest day of my life. well, goodnight.

At the self help clinic when homer looks to his "inner child" and the little homer says "Food goes in here" (pointing to mouth). Generally any thing with homer as a child or even teenager is hilarious to me. Of course homer is my fav character.

doh!

And then at the end of the episode, Marge (the video game store clerk told her that it is what every kid wants) bought Bart a golf game. Bart's reaction was hilarious and I was ROFL. And Bart tried to play the game at the credit and he kept doing the opposite of what the game advice him to do.

Ahhh, so many great memory of the Simpsons.

The episode I really like and related to is the episode where Bart and Lisa were in Pee-Wee hockey and were against each other. After the whole episode of rivalry between the two, in the end, they show their love for each other (great flash back moments) by tieing the game.

And the all new Pontiac Transport goes to the fan in seat 0001, C. Montgomery Burns!

Hall of Famer Whitey Ford is coming out to try and calm the crowd. And Whitey's down...this is a...a black day for baseball.

We could call them "Whitey Whackers."

The pretzel episode is one of my favorites!

Burns: Smithers! I've got a rocket in my pocket!
Smithers: You don't have to tell me Mr. Burns...
-----------------
Homer: Who wants to go through the cactus patch?
Bart: I do!
Lisa: I do!
Sideshow Bob: No!
Homer: Well, 2 against 1! Yeah!
-----------------
Homer: I'm smarter than the devil! I'm smarter than the devil!
