LOL @ some of the posts in here. It reminds me of this family reunion I went to, where people were fighting. :)

I'll end this thread right now. I'm the oldest member here; I've been here longer than any of you other mofos (1). And I met Anand once in person (2). And my penis is bigger than yours (3). And my wife is hotter than any of the women you dream about talking to, let alone actually asking out (4). And I drive a fast car (5). And make tons of money (6). So I'm better than anyone else who has posted in this thread (7).

91TTZ,

I actually remember Megashaft 2000. You're still a dork for posting this thread, though.

1. Not really
2. True
3. Probably not
4. Definitely
5. This is a lie
6. Unfortunately not
7. Absolutely

I hope Anand gets that Canopus Total3D 128V review done. I can't wait to see how it performs.

You had to bring back one of the thread that broke the BBS. And, don't forget the image tag that bogged down the server.

Anyone remember the Clan of The Bloody Fist (CBF) server? Nowhereland.net? :Q

Quake III demo came out in summer of '99 and they still had that thing running long after the full release of the game was out that fall.

I remember playing Quake 3 on Neo's server.

Don't laugh, I'm not that far away from it ;)

Maiora, I must have registered only a few hours before you back in '99. Your profile ID
is # 763, and mine is # 709.......

Howdy, old timers.....

I was around at least 6 months before I registered.

I think it's funny how many people have been here half as along as me, and have 10x as many posts!

Where the hell has Russ been? I remember he posted in a What are you doing for new year's? post: Cooking Celery. Had to be 1998-1999. I was running a PII 333 at 620 at the time. Had a 300A that did 450 with default voltage. Actually ran it at 300 with NO HEATSINK! :Q Tough little puppies those things are. Now we have quadcores that could make hot water faster than a cappuccino machine.

Who was the other guy Nick Caputo? Oh and that Guy Under The Bridge. I remember when he came back as Information. Instantly busted when he started saying how ridiculous it was to need a goldfingers device to o/c a slot one athlon! I actually soldered mine, thank you! :p

Russ still works in his shop in WA. He got sick of the dumbasses on the boards.

Many people, including myself, lurked for 6 months to a year before they joined. I suspect I actually started coming here since lake 2000, but I only have my join date to go by so I don't worry too much. :)
