I was here when you were still getting the pages of the women's lingere' section of your mom's sears catalogue pages all sticky.

BTW, I notice when my foot comes down, certain people have nothing to say, and therefore, quit posting. I must be a really big dog, with strong urine. ;)

Do you still care to pursue your rediculous claim?
Got it before you edited it, sport. I rest my case.

Wow, that is probably one of the most childish things I've read on here. Go grammar police!

I wish I would have known about Anandtech back then. I was BBSing in the late 80s and early to mid-90s. If I would have joined I could have been uber 1337 like all of you guys.

I've always been ohtwell and I've been here for over 5 years. I had that one time in which I was seriously considering changing my username to Amanda, but I never did it. :D

I miss the way the forums were when I first got on!

I used to hang out in the Mac "VS" PC room back when I first joined AOL in 1995.

It was a lot of fun back then.

Today, those chatrooms are just filled with trolls.

Damn straight.

I used to floss around the internet on my Pentium 60, my Pentium Pro 200, and my Cyrix 6x86-166.

I used to surf the net on a Packard Bell 386-SX, using an ISP in the Seattle area called Eskimo North. It was run out of some guy's basement, if I remember right.

Then there were the various BBS's and such before that.

I joined Anandtech (found it via Hot Deals @ GotApex.com) towards the final few months before they changed over from BBS to Fusetalk. I remember getting mad at the new style, especially considering I was on dial up :)!

Don't remember my user name back then, maybe it was the same. God that seems like so long ago.

I think it has more to do with the saying about arguing in the internet... ;)

Feed your ego elsewhere.
Signing up `first` on a web board doesn't merit respect.

And chiming into a thread with a negative comment when the OP didn't put you down doesn't gain you much respect either.

It's odd how most people can identify just fine what a thread is about, but there's always the ew oddballs coming out of the wordwork that are angered/offended by the post.

And neither does posting something rude on an internet forum.

Yes, you're right, but out of kindness and respect, I exercised self-restraint, and refrained from also commenting on the consistent expressions of very rude put-downs of others: This just goes ON & ON & ON SEE??
& I just get sick of expressions of stinking attitude and sometimes I've been on the receiving end of these constant kindergarten-level putdowns

Despite Scott's poor linking skills, he does make a solid point. But then it isn't unique to this guy. You could probably do the same for me.

That's not in this thread, haven't you ever posted a wiseass comment? I have fun and egg people on from time to time just like a lot of people do. I'm not pretending to be a saint.

Secondly, that's an impressive collection of my posts. Care to post pics of the full shrine?

Except the top one, I really don't see a problem.
