I've built up such a huge backlog of games (and I am actively trying to play and beat those old $2 on a whim purchases) that I think my gaming needs will be satisfied for the next 2 years.

I'm in a place where I'll buy a "AAA" must have game when it hits the $5 mark. No more.

This is pretty much my position as well. I maintain a wishlist at isthereanydeal.com and put in a $5 threshold. I get an email when the game is below the threshold. No need to pay attention to any sales.....isthereanydeal does all the work.

Might want to get gaming then, because there's some really good stuff lined up for Q4 of this year and Q1 of 2019.

I shouldn't talk though, as I have a pretty decent backlog as well. Being an adult FTL

- I'm working on it, but those games will still be there in 2020 for a fraction of the price with all DLC included so I'm not going to try and rush it ;-)

Don't forget that by then they will have fixed all the game breaking bugs. Overall there is no reason to buy and play a game the first 6 months of it coming out unless it is a competitive online game, and those no longer interest me in the slightest.

It's started, and it can take an hour or more before all the sale prices actually show up.

Yeah, its up with an alien theme and as usual, the store page loads slow if at all and most sale prices aren't showing up yet.

The store page is featuring the Fallout Franchise. I was hoping FO4 was going to be on sale, but it's showing $29.99 I think. Should I wait to see if the price will drop? On isthereanydeal FO4 is going for $12 on Gamebillet and some other retailers, but I've never purchased from any of them.

EDIT: NVMD pricing has been adjusted. $14.99 now.

Looks like a few items on my wishlist have decent pricing... thinking about getting Wolfenstein New Order & Old Blood combo... heard mixed opinions that one was better than the other, but seem to be mostly positive for both games...

Others would be Grim Dawn ($7.49) and Rage ($2.49). Only thinking Rage because of the new one coming and the love / hate I see all over the internet for the first one... seems like I need to decide for myself!

All these have been on sale in the past for same / similar pricing but I've only recently worked through some of my backlog.

I have a wrecking yard of a wishlist.
I picked a couple I know I want ( F1 2017, WRC 7 ), another couple I've wanted-ish for awhile ( Grim Dawn and Metro 2033 ) and went with a wildcard (Bayonetta.)

I'm confident I'll put hours into the racing games (that's my thang), pretty sure i'll get at least a couple hours in Metro... and the hope is to put an hour into the others before the year is up. ;)
