Picked up Titan Quest Anniversary on a daily deal for $three bucks. The game isn't even part of the normal sale.

Unlike Steam's sales, it's actually extremely worthwhile to keep checking GOG daily while their sales are running.

Really enjoying my Huntress build so far.

I could never get into TQ. I tried at least 4x, once with TQ, TQIT, TQAE, and TQ RAG. Run speed is way too slow. Game speed is too slow. Progression is too slow. Drops are utter crap. UI is craptastic. Yes, the game is old, I know... But AE and RAG had an opportunity to improve those, yet it did not. Sure, you can run mods, but I always felt that it was playing the game the way it wasn't intended to be played... So, I dunno. To each their own.

Grim Dawn based on the same engine, on the other hand, is stellar and feels much more balanced and fluid. That game is 10x better than TQ in every way, except for the setting. I loved the mythology theme in TQ. Not so much a fan of Grim Dawn's seemingly strange Lovecraft's inspired stuff. At least, I assume it is based on Lovecraft's lore, which I am admittingly not a huge fan of... The game is also dark, so I had to blast the gamma up super high. Dark settings depress the heck out of me.
