If that thing was built in the Bronx those curtains would all have been stolen already.

Has anyone seen them in person? The photos I've seen make them look just terrible. I know art is subjective, but... I dont think they're art at all. I think they're just some girders and some cloth that cost FAR too much for the city of New York... I guess tourism is picking up so that's good, but ... BLEH! :disgust:
LOL, okay. I'm not riled up or anything, and of course nobody is really suffering. I personally feel it looks ridiculous, and alot of people I know feel the same way. That's all. Calm down. 🙂Originally posted by: Dubb

Yeah, it's great that these 2 people were able to realize their dream, but why does the entire NYC have to suffer because of it?Originally posted by: Dubb
I actually like it, though I haven't seen it in person. They've been trying to get this done for a very long time now...I remember reading about it and it's pretty cool to see it finally realized.

:disgust: way to miss the point...
it's pretty cool to see it realized because I think it's a great work, I'd love to be able to go see it. I highly doubt NYC is suffering.
if you don't like it, chill out, it's only two weeks.
