Of course they did. Only forum I know that needs to shut down several hours once a week for maintenance.

LMFAO after being down for like 12 hours for maintenance, and only being up for like an hour, the forum was shut down again for nearly two hours for maintenance. I have never seen another forum that required so much maintenance.

Yeah, they should just get rid of the regular maintenance since it doesn't work. Then we would only have the regular unplanned downtime.

yeah.. what I don't understand if they're moving locations is:
1) backup everything
2) load the backup to the new machines in the new location way b4 the move
3) test

if everything works, then on xfer day:
1) shutdown anandtech.com
2) backup everything
3) load the backup to the new machines at new location
