<< When did I ever say Torque was useful without horsepower? >>
Tanks make thousands of hp and they are still slow as ass. Cars are a solution, it is a final product of thousands of engineering decisions. The thing with the muscle car mentality is that it is about numbers, how much hp/torque you put out, how fast you run the qmile. It tends to ignore things like handling, daily drivability, gas mileage, power to weight ratio, etc.

Frightliners signature semi has a 350 HP engine, that produces 15,000 ft-lbs of torque. You need both torque and HP to move a vehicle. Also, Outersqaure, i think you made a mistake when you quoted that tanks have thousands of HP, they have thousands of ft-lbs of torquw.
On the other hand, no one can argue with Kamian, since he refuses to listen to waht anyone says. Muscle cars are godlike in his mind. Me, i prefer to be able to turn my car when driving, and i like technology, which really knocks muslce cars out of my dream vehicles.
