Not in Christianity. This is serious sin. He should do penance, make reparations. He and his wife should receive counseling to rectify their behavior. It’s just unacceptable for a Christian to continue this behavior. But, given what much of modern evangelicalism has become, I wouldn't count on it. The Shepard's are feasting on their own flock.

Family friend got kind of mad at me last summer. He just remarried, new wife very religulous, and was trying to impress me with news of his step son being accepted to Liberty. I did my best to stifle my mix of sympathy and amusement, offer congrats anyway but he was pissed. I congratulated him for the milestone, but ended with 'Think you're pissed now? Wait a few years. You'll see.'

Guess who is just incensed at Jerry's little diploma mill now? lol

Organized religion? TV evangelist? It's all BS. The only reason TV evangelist do what they do is because they know it is easy money AND.... easy tax free money. So, one could either rob a bank, mug old women, break into houses, or.... become a TV evangelist. And one must also understand that to think and act like a criminal takes a pretty low corrupt person, and that is exactly what TV evangelist basically are. I have an idea.... instead of these presidents and politicians sucking up to religion and to the evangelist, why not have a president and politicians that promote the ending of all organized religion? Campaign on just doing away with it all. After all, religion and faith is in the heart, not on TV and not in the Vatican. If believing that true faith and religion starts and ends with the individual then maybe these evangelist could be exposed for what they really are, opportunist. Evangelist take advantage of religion for personal financial gain, for political power, and for the illusion of superiority over others. We don't necessarily need an atheist in the Whitehouse, all we need is a president and politicians that respect the separation between church and state. And politicians that don't give a crap about YOUR religion, or for you to be concerned about THEIRS.

It's also newsworthy because of the rules they put on student at that so called University. They also had major influence convincing evangelicals to throw away their morality and vote for Trump
