I'm sure the music, shaky hidden cam, and quick edits may convince you that something foul is afoot...but he's been saying that on CNN for WEEKS! Also, he's a commentator, expressing an opinion, not reporting on the results of any investigations (which btw are on-going...)

Those are some valid points, but we can easily add the russian investigation into the mix because most adults are capable of multitasking jobs/responsibilities/crisis situations when they arise/etc.

So we both agree that Trump wanted Comey to act differently based on the idea that Trump may have tapes of their conversations despite Trump knowing that no such tapes existed.

That's a pretty obvious attempt at deception. I genuinely cannot understand why that is a meaningful difference. We have the President of the United States attempting to deceive the former head of the FBI in order to alter the content of his sworn testimony, which is arguably a felony. I cannot imagine what conservatives would have done had Obama done this but their rage would have been off the charts.
