So . . . you think they're all assholes, amIrite?

Well, Raylan Givens has some sage advice for you, to wit: "If you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole."

Cliffs: You're the asshole.

You're just lucky that I didn't say "full stop" then it would really be over. Also, I pull "end of story" occasionally too.

But he didn't lie, lets just be honest with ourselves.

OMG!!! Buckshit has threatened FULL STOP!!!!

Alert Alex Jones!!! Buckshit's going FULL STOP (akin to full retard.)

Did Trump say anything close to that? Did he say, "you better hope I, Donald J Trump, didn't record our conversations"? Trump played Comey and forced him to remember things more accurately is all that happened. Remember that story saying Comey was going to deny that he told Trump 3 times that he personally wasn't under investigation? That was probably true until the prospect of tapes surfaced.

He did not lie, period. Move on.
Since only Comey and Trump were the only ones in the room it would have to be Trump. I mean since Trump conveniently kicked everyone else out.

Yes he didn't directly lie but he lied by inference. It's a standard far below the office. It makes him unfit to hold it.

Not a representative set of people I meet over the course of a day. Also, seriously, anyone who takes a picture of them gushing cigar smoke probably doesn't stop blowing cigar smoke into the faces of people he talks to.

Perhaps I'm not as big of a hack as you thought I was? Literally this is all this producer admitted to so that is literally all I will say he admitted to.

I wish this intellectual honesty extended as far as questioning your conclusions and dogmas.

No clue who those people are, but the guy with the cigar looks like a psychopath and the guy on the right has the fat, squinty Trump/Shkreli smirk, a.k.a. "the literal face of justifiable assault." I don't even know who that is and I want to smack him so hard his lips hit escape velocity.

Not sure. Which one do you most vigorously masturbate to at night?

My favorite part is that it's pretty clear Limbaugh thinks he looks AWESOME in that picture when he looks like a tool. That might have been cool in the 80's.

Millions and millions of people find those individuals extremely funny, which is of course why they are all very successful comedians. It's sad that you can't enjoy funny people because politics has so totally overwhelmed your ability to enjoy the world. I hope you get better.

Lordy, I guess that is one way to describe them.

As per google Stephen Colbert is worth about $45 million and is currently the highest rated late night network host. John Oliver is only (!) worth about $5 million but he's early in his career and he's averaging somewhere around 5 million weekly viewers.

I'm sure that you are an enormously successful person that puts those paltry numbers to shame though. ;) Maybe you can share the secret to your success with us.

So hardly anyone has a problem with CNN's article it seems. Despite the fact its obviously fake news. People lost their jobs for it. It was retracted. Hardly the first for CNN.

Instead they go on and on about the video, and other topics. They are the same people to call out others for diversion tactics? Oh, hypocrisy as normal around here. Sad to see, but not very surprised.

First of all it's 100% not fake news. That's the sort of lie that we all need to agree to condemn. Mistakes are not fake news, deliberate deception is. Conservatives have tried to take that term and twist it to avoid accountability from the media.

Second, CNN appears to have done exactly what a reputable news organization does. Recognize a mistake and hold those responsible accountable. Every organization makes mistakes, it's just a question of whether you ignore them like Fox News and Breotbart do or if you confront them like responsible people.

I am truly sorry we should all be clutching our pearls more based on the fact a news organization took responsibility for a bad story. I must have missed Fox News retracting stories and firing staffers who spread incorrect stories. Can you link me to the story where Fox fired Hannity?

All you libs crying and sticking up for fake news CNN, Time, Washington Post is exciting to watch. Really enjoy how you guys slant everything your way and cant take off your own rose colored glasses yet call out us republicans all the time for doing the same.

I enjoy seeinf the falling of the Communist News Network. Although, calling CNN that does a disservice to communism. Cnn is too fake for even that!!

It is pretty sad how credible news organizations get literally no credit from conservatives for acting like credible news organizations. Fox News has issued so many false or misleading stories it's impossible to count and yet conservatives think they are the most credible source around. CNN prints a false story, admits it is wrong, retracts it, and fired those responsible and what do they get for it? A torrent of accusations by the same people who have no problem with Fox News.

Let me ask you this. Does Breitbart, Infowars, Fox News publish or push fake news? Take it further. Has the President of the United States lied repeatedly?

Here's the amusing part in your post. CNN retracted the story, they took action against the parties who allowed it to go to print. They have publicly acknowledged the mistake. I'm curious your answer to the question I pose above.

What on earth makes you say it worked? Are you saying Comey would otherwise have testified dishonestly? Stop making things up.

It's funny that you simultaneously try to claim that Trump 'played' Comey, meaning he deceived him, but then want to say he didn't 'lie'. The fact that you think that's somehow better says a lot about your character.
