Really suburbans are best choice. ride like a caddilac, fit the biggest of men, with great visibility, but all deparments hav'nt yet discovered thier virture yet.. so crown vics are still used

Suburbans are not even close to the best choice.

The manuverability of those things makes them awful for pursuits.

SUV's such as the explorer and expedition are alright but you need to be concerned about rollovers.

the crownvic's really are a good choice.

I didn't even know Ford was selling Crown Vics to cops anymore. All I see around here are Impala's. Heck even mall police and "special security" drive Impalas now.

Dallas PD has some Impalas and Intrepids in their fleets.

Addison uses Durangos and Tahoes. Plano uses Expeditions (very few) from what I saw as well.

Around my town all of the cop cars are either Crown Vics or (recently) Tauruses, the Tauruses are becoming more popular though
