The one thing I have issue with is them saying "as long as god wills it, we will continue having children". How do they know that's what is being willed here? (note this is a rhetorical question, folks.)

Maybe it just means they will continue to have sex with absolutely no regard to the consequences - i.e., another pregnancy - whatever happens, happens.

And to think I'm starting to celebrate because my daughter is getting closer and closer to being fully potty-trained and I'll finally be through with diapers...

Hot dog down a hallway.

more like a vienna sausage down a tunnel

It's crazy when your gyno needs a miner's hat and spelunking gear.

I bet she can hide a pretty big snuke in her snizz. I think that she is a terror threat.

If they can afford it without government assistance, and if the whole family is healthy and happy, then I have no problem with it.

That's nothing new really... well, for this day and age it is, but used to happen all the time. Benjamin Franklin was one of 17 children between his father's two marriages, 7 with first, 10 with second wife, Ben being in the second bunch and youngest son.

Yes, less survived during those days, generally, and it was more of a social norm then it is today. Times change.

why do times have to change?
I could care less how many children someone has, as long as they can support them by themselves and don't abuse the social programs. If these people were on food stamps and welfare, I'd advocate something harsh to prevent any more children.

Don't ask me why less kids get killed while farming then they used to (for example), I'm not in charge of evolution of technology, society, or the planet.

I knew a few people with dozen+ children when I was growing up in Saudi Arabia. Mostly rich Sheiks with 2-4 wives, giant villas and all the help they needed. But I'm pretty sure I don't know a woman that popped a dozen kids by herself.

I do know a bunch of 9s and 10s.

Click the link above. It has their daily brainwashing listed on what they do.

How do you make a household of 17 people run smoothly? What is a typical day in your lives?

Our #1 goal is to lead our children to seek a close relationship with God & give Him every area of their lives. We purpose to start each day with a family Bible study, reading a chapter of Proverbs that corresponds with the day of the month. We have heart to heart talks with each of the older children regularly. We try to keep up with their attitudes & actions.

9:00p.m. is Bible time with Daddy. This is probably our favorite time of day. Daddy reads the Bible & we discuss the passage together. We talk about the day & bring out points of how to apply what we have learned. We enjoy making up skits & acting out examples of right responses & wrong responses. Often our little ones will fall asleep as Daddy begins Bible time, still they love to be with us at this special time. Bedtime is 10:00p.m.

My wife and I think the woman has a mental illness. Seriously, she basically said on camera (my wife was watching a special on them) that she isn't happy unless she's pregnant or there's a baby to take care of in the house. If she's constantly pregnant and/or taking care of a baby, who's raising the older kids?

Feldenak: It's a birth canal, not a water slide.

I nominate that for ATOT quip of the year.

If it's any consolation...

I have 14 Aunts/Uncles from my mom's side and 9 from my dad's side.

I have 23 Aunts/Uncles total. Well 22, one passed away. Total, I have around ~53 first cousins and some of my first cousins have children older than me.

Edit: My Grandparents from my mothers side are Catholic and my dad's are Baptist.
