What's everybody think? Has a boundary been crossed? Is this justified?
I just flew a few weeks ago after having not flown for nearly three years. My departure point was a small local airport without all the high-tech scanners. I was surprised though that MSP on my return did not have them.
I don't really care if they want to feel me up, but I can sure understand that others might not care for it. I don't know what the answer is, but I'm pretty sure that the fundamentalist radicals are winning this battle.
WASHINGTON It has become an instant rallying cry for Americans fed up with full body scans and rigorous security pat downs at airports: "If you touch my junk, I'm going to have you arrested."
John Tyner, a 31-year-old San Diego software programmer, uttered the warning to a Transportation Security Administration officer as he prepared to undergo a physical inspection prior to a weekend flight in Southern California.
Tyner's refusal to submit an unwanted groin check which he said amounted to "sexual assault" got him booted from the airport and threatened with a $10,000 fine.
