One problem is that this is in the OT forum instead of the OS forum. Also, there have been dozens of polls like this over the short time that Ive been a member. They have gotten boring. Plus, so many people say they are geeks but only use 1 OS. Whats the point? Variety is the spice of life. Too many boring computer users :)

one last bump.

I knew Windows NT would be the winner by a long shot, I was more interested in what non-MS OS's were being used by ATOT'ers. I see someone is using Amiga Workbench, cool! :)

A lot of the Microsoft bashers use Microsoft products themselves. When asked for the reason they usually respond "Oh, there's no other alternative which is why I hate Microsoft even more" or "There's no software for [enter OS other than MS's here] and so... that's why I hate Microsoft even more". What a bunch of lamers, if they really hated Microsoft they would do some research and get Linux plus all of the software out there that's written for it.

On my 1.33 gig T-Bird, I use Win 98 with all critical updates, Windows Scripting Host UNinstalled, and the AUTOEXEC.BAT from hell that nukes all temp files and a bunch of other dross every time I reboot. Gotta say, it's pretty stable that way. :)

I still have DOS 6.22 and Win 3.11 on my 486 DX-4. DOS 6.22 is the best DOS M$ ever released. They finally got everything they stole from DR-DOS right. :Q I don't use Win 3.11 much, but DOS is great for industrial controllers.

Are you joking around or do you actually want me to add those?

<< I Tri boot!

XP Pro, 2000 Pro, Me

You need a option for dual, Tri, Quad, booting!
>>

In your situation, the answer would be NT, as 2K/XP outnumber ME 2 to 1. :)
