Hi all,
this may be a bit of a rant, but here goes...How many out there think that the bew consoles will kill computer gaming as we know it? We've already seen companies pulling out of developing titles for the PC, and it seems as if the graphics potential of these new consoles will rival, or even surpass most PC's. Now here's the kicker, I can buy a PS3 for around 400.00 or spend 1000.00 on just my 2 video cards? Then thousands more on constant upgrades...I use my gaming scarcely, as I am more addicted to music and d-loading...but, i also like to build and upgrade PC's. Will we see reductions in the prices of PC components withing the next year to keep all us hardcore PC gamers happy? I doubt it....As much as I like to build, if I can hook up the PS3 to my hi-def sony widescreen tv, get spectacuolar looking graphics and have an abundance of games...I may become a dreaded console person myself. It will be an interseting year to say the least...people's thoughts?
