This things not going anywhere anytime soon. Maybe it's time to try to get into a MMORPG. Something that sucks away the hours until the sun comes up.

Is anyone here playing anything cool?

You need membership but i play something called Wizard101, family friendly game but as you level up the humor and some of the content gets darker obviously geared towards even older people at times. Lots of greek mythology based in the game, if that is your thing you may just LOVE this game. Lots of deities from the Olympians are in there.

I got a max death wizard who practices Necromancy but its set up more as a healer/mender. Then a max storm that just does mass damage. There is also a max life i have but the death just has better tools. Each school has its job and some well are in much demand like fire and death at max right now. Be amazed how one single spell can turn the tide of battle from like a death wizard.

Edit: me in the middle i am Brahm here on my max storm and this is a taste of the things i help people with. This is a level 30 dungeon based on the theme of Olympus. I find myself always helping/carrying teams here and its always a rewarding feeling. This end boss is quite the chore and his health and the shield spam...

That looks kind of cool. Maybe I'll give it a try. It says you can play free.

I was also thinking about trying that Star Wars online game.

You get to like level 5 then to progress further there is 2 options, a $10 a month membership or if you watch ad videos and do quizzes you can earn crowns and those can unlock areas. In theory you could unlock the entire game but i did the math and it was like gonna take 10 years. Completely optional for membership depends how frequent you play or chase those crowns.

Some of the gear sorta is " pay to win" but its all optional, some bosses for example drop the best wand/robe in the game then right now the top gear like hat/shoes/amulet/ring are craftable. I farmed for many of the best objects and been gifted many "packs" which give the chance of like a mount with damage. Some stuff locked behind the packs but yeah i farm for everything, i don't feed much into the packs since i got the best mount in the game. Rest of the max gear is all farmable/craftable currently unless your into healing/mending then yeah if you want perfect stats its essentially a investment.

I farmed these certain bosses during a event called double reagent weekend and it TOOK all damn weekend to get the reagents to craft my hat/shoes/ring for my max storm. I was there till my ass hurt pretty much, talk about keeping yourself busy. I still need to get membership so i could make sets for my death/life/ice/balance.

If you jump in and ever need help and i got membership which should be when my stimulus comes in, i could help ya out :)

I played Ori Will of the Wisps for over 3 hours straight last night. If you have an Xbox One or PC, I highly recommend it. It's one of the best games this generation and is a masterpiece.

You can sign up for Microsoft Gamepass for $1 for the first month and both the original Ori and the sequel (Will of the Wisps) are included on there. That is what I did and I plan on canceling after the month. I already finished the original one a few months back and it's fantastic as well. I feel kind of bad for not paying the $30 to support the developers though and playing it for $1.

Thanks for the tip, i think when i get my 3700x i think it comes with a coupon for free Gamepass. That or maybe the 2080ti i wanna pick up, one of them if not both prob give the passes. :)

I have been playing Quake The Offering lately.

I also play Doom 2016, Bioshock 2 and UT99 (I run my own server).

That is a funky headstock, don't recognize it.
Lindert Guitars, formerly made in Chelan, WA before a brief stint in Korean manufacturing and discontinuing production in 2002. I won the guitar in a Battle of the Bands in 1997, my senior year of high school.

A LONG time ago the Uncharted collection for PS4 was free on PS+ and I downloaded it. I'm talking years.

My PS+ sub has been lapsed for quite a while but I never bothered to uninstall the game. And now it's free forever.

I don't have to re-download it. Finally my laziness pays off.

I hadn't heard about the Uncharted giveaway yet, will have to take advantage of it. I only own 2 & 4 now, but the only two I'm likely to ever replay are 1 & 2, so getting the upgraded versions will be nice.

Yeah, I tried Journey for a little while, it didn't do much for me, doesn't feel like a proper "game" if you know what I mean, you just screw around and stuff happens.

I thought about picking up the guitar again during this covid thing. I might still get back into it but I need new strings and I don't remember how to tune it. I only learned a few cords and songs, mostly through tabs. I'd have to dig deep into my storage to find it. I've just got a cheap classical guitar.

I've been doing a ton of yardwork. Mostly weed wacking and filling up my green waste. Got a couple of projects I'm planning on, trying to get a list so I only have to go to Home Depot once (I doubt I'll remember everything and will have to go back anyways but might as well try).

You can use a website or your smartphone as a tuner. Maybe use the stimulus money to get yourself a Yamaha FG800 For $200, classical guitars are kind of best for classical music ;)

I'm considered essential so I've been working M-F as usual. Nothing much changed for me other than taking a bigger chance of catching covid. I'm not worried about it though. I prefer working vs staying home bored.

My wife is working from home, both kids are there and they have not been off our property since this all started. My wife is going crazy. lol Honestly i would not want to be stuck home with her and the kids. ;)

Well, i decided to have lunch on my porch then sat outside for hours on end. Who would not when you got all this. My herbal/vegetable garden hopefully next month may start out here on the left side of the video. :) Found myself meditating and got so relaxed i came in the house to take a nap.

Been on lockdown 2 days. Cleaned and organized my garage, then painted the bathroom. I'm thinking I might build new shaker doors for the bath vanity and replace the drawers tomorrow.
I might resurface the driveway next week.

You want to lockdown at my house? I promise not to mention you being wrong about politics.
