this movie is ridiculous. i still think i'll end up going, since it'll be funny. but if anyone is stupid enough to believe that its realistic, they just stupid.

Yeah, I noticed the "Hack the planet" thingy. Just how LAME can they get???? It reminded me of "Hackers" ("yeah, RISC is good!"), and I DON'T want to be reminded about that!

I heard that they were considering delaying this movie AGAIN after the Columbia disaster...there's a scene where the space shuttle crashes on re-entry because it is hit by super lightening on the way down :Q! They were so worried about delaying it again so they haven't removed the scene...I know this is going to turn some people off...
 
I remember seeing the previews for it over the holidays (maybe even during Nemesis), and i wasn't impressed with it. They pretty much gave the entire plot during the 2 min preview (not like it was much).

Not a bad Sci-fi movie. I'll wait for the bargain tickets.

Downloaded the VCD screener today and watched part of it. Too bad they did not bring back any souveneirs like diamonds the size of Manhattan.
 
What is up with the ads for this movie? Half of them say "Every 200,000 years, poles shift, the earth changes, Ice ages start... etc"

And the other half are like "we did this to the earth with a top secret earthquake weapon"

They decided the premise of the movie yet?
 
My brother got a bootle... err.. preview version from the streets of NYC. It was okay so far.. I haven't finished watching it, yet.. heh..

 
Ok, I realize that there is supposed to be a suspension of disbelief when you go see a movie...but, the space shuttle crash landing into the Los Angeles aquaducts and sliding around? C'mon.
