Unfortunately, he already passed away. John Pinette passed away at the age of 50 years old.
Looked it up : April 5 , 2014.

Comedian John Pinette, who famously appeared in the “Seinfeld” series finale, died over the weekend in Pittsburgh at age 50, just three months after he told fans that he was postponing his national stand-up tour because of health problems.
The medical examiner ruled the death as a result of natural causes, as Pinette suffered a pulmonary embolism.
Pinette told his Twitter followers earlier this year that he was “physically spent” after losing a lot of weight and undergoing some small surgeries, and would have to take a break from work. “I didn’t give myself enough time to heal this past fall and it has caught up to me,” he wrote. “But I’m on the mend and I promise to hit the stage as soon as humanly possible.”

One of the best comedyseries IMHO, the synergy between the actors and actresses is one of the reasons what made this series so great.

This prank where the wife makes a horrible beef stew for her husband with really bitter Chinese tea and fermented squid to see how he responds always has me in tears. It's in Japanese but every time she asks him if it tastes good he says it tastes amazing, it tastes delicious. Then he keeps asking her if she ate it, if the kids liked it and she keeps saying they did, they thought it was great. Then when she walks out to do the laundry and he's alone he's practically calling it dogshit (it's super offensive to call somone else's cooking mazui) and saying it's impossible.
