The Cognitive Decline Disinformation Campaign Being Launched Against Biden

Ok, let's try this one, maybe this one you will understand, or most likely you are going to try obfuscating again and pretend not to understand. If Russia is for peace in the Afghanistan or Iraq, is your position that we continue wars in the Mid East to oppose them?
"OK BRO IF RUSSIA SAYS A SQUARE HAS CORNERS BRO DOES THAT MAKE IT FALSE BRO?? WHAT'S IT GONNA BE BRO???"

The only one obfuscating here is you. Sanders gets astroturf support from Russian trolls. His campaign is factually an instrument of Russia's broader attack on our sovereignty.

That's the topic. Talk about that. I won't hold my breath.

So "cognitive decline" is a good thing now?? Also remember that he will (in the unlikely case that he is elected) be in office for 4 years (theoretically 8, but that seems out of the question). If he is at best in cognitive decline now, how will he cope in 4 years? And initially, Biden was my favorite to win, because I though he had the best chance to defeat trump. But after seeing some of his speeches and some of the incoherent responses during the debate, I think his chances are extremely slim.

Trump on the other hand, doesnt have to worry about cognitive decline. You cant lose what you never had.

When did I say "cognitive decline" is a good thing. I said it isn't dementia. Do you know what facts are and how to discuss them rationally?

Again.... it’s hard to defeat an incumbent even a Donald Trump.
Everyone thought GW Bush would never see a second term, but he did. And Michael Moore said back then as he says now that this is the most important election of our lifetime. The making or breaking of America. Well, Bush was re-elected and we survived Bush part two despite all the doom and gloom predictions.
Now they say a second term Donald Trump will leave America devastated. No doubt a second Donald Trump will indeed be terribly bad for everyone but I think America can survive even four more years of Donald Trump.
Typically, when running against an incumbent the opposing side picks a loser from the start. Someone willing to play the role and jump through all the hoops yet never really expecting to win. Flawed candidates never expecting to win but at leased proclaiming in the end that they tried.
I suspect Joe Biden will lose, and Bernie Sanders would have lost too if it were Sanders vs Trump.
If people thought losing to Donald Trump in 2016 was a nightmare just wait until Joe Biden loses to Donald Trump in November. I think people will be jumping off bridges.

The centrist vote uniting is only part of why Bernie is losing. He's also losing because his core constituency of youth voters aren't turning out for him. They aren't voting for Joe either. They're just not voting in this primary season, for whatever reason. That fact alone should give everyone pause about how viable a candidate Sanders ever was.
I’ve been thinking about what he could have done differently to change this. It’s not like the enthusiasm wasn’t there.

Part of it may be ease of registration. Home ownership tends to prompt people to register, where the youth vote is more transient and predominantly renters or living at home with parents.

The other part of it is that they just don’t show up to vote.

a free Big Mac coupon for everyone who votes would go a long way towards alleviating this problem....

Lets not forget that Creepy uncle Joe is the choice of the corporate oligarchs. He will lose bigly to the orange shit stain.

Trump is gonna sell that and low information voters just gobble it up like impeachment hoax.

I always found it remarkable that Bernie Bros & Trumpsters adopt the same derisive rhetoric.

That's why Joe's campaign was broke before Super Tuesday.

Do you understand satire?
To be serious though, is it really too much to ask for the Democrats to nominate a candidate who is in *neither* dementia or cognitve decline? Maybe somebody who you know, is not nearly 80 years old. Even Sanders, although I think his policies would make it hard for him to get elected, seems much more mentally sharp than Biden.

And why is racism in America on the rise? I think that structural inequalities are a significant piece of that answer. What happens when people are insecure in terms of providing for their basic needs and their outlook for the future? The turn inwards, and seek protection within their tribe. The right has been very successful using that fear to turn middle and lower class Caucasians against people of color, particularly immigrants, blaming them for their diminishing prospects in life.
I think you got close, but missed the mark. Inequality was dropping for a long time in the US, and as such 'some people' (non-whites) were getting close to being on the same tier as everyone else, which made the 'everyone else' (racist whites) feel like their position in life was lowering. All it takes a that point is a little 'make your life greater again' talk from a populist person that quacks like them, and racism flags start flying.

Don't forget Trump was impeached trying to delegitimize Joe
Yes, and the republicans very effectively turned the impeachments hearings into an attack on Hunter Biden and Joe and branded it as "poor Donald is being persecuted again."
Anyone who thinks the Republicans will not use Biden's gaffes and Barisma effectively against him is just sticking their head in the sand.

Anyone that thinks Biden's gaffes are a problem and Trump's aren't is a lying to themselves when they say they care about the issue.

You think they wouldn't use Sander's recent heart attack against him? Or the big scary S word? Every single candidate has something that Republicans will dishonestly blow out of proportion to further their own goals.

It's funny, when Bernie was surging, not a peep of this...I wonder why?

Obviously the Republicans will find something to attack no matter who the nominee. That does not mean the dems should hand it to them on a silver platter.

One of the many things I've learned over the last 4 years is this country is full of hypocrites.
Also, as a group we hold Republicans to much lower standards than Democrats, and men to much lower standards than women.
