The Chinese People Think Trump is a Genius.

Pretty telling. Many Chinese see what Trump is doing to Xi, and they are in awe. Trump is taking on Xi and the communistic government. Trump has boxed Xi and the government with those tariffs. For one, he has struck deals with Europe

I don't care for Trump but I'll say it again. We think he's an idiot. He's not. Most of the things he says and does are all calculated. He knows what he's doing. You don't become POTUS as a bumbling idiot.

They describe him as a master tactician, focusing on one issue at a time, and extracting as many concessions as he can. They speak of the skilful way Mr Trump has treated President Xi Jinping. “Look at how he handled North Korea,” one says. “He got Xi Jinping to agree to UN sanctions [half a dozen] times, creating an economic stranglehold on the country. China almost turned North Korea into a sworn enemy of the country.” But they also see him as a strategist, willing to declare a truce in each area when there are no more concessions to be had, and then start again with a new front.

Nobody is going to read your shit blog about how Trump is a genius.

Also if you think he is a genius or that the chinese think that, you're an idiot.

The author of that piece is a moron.

It talks about getting China to agree on UN sanctions on North Korea as some sort of 8-d chess victory on Trump’s part and a signal of his strength. Obama got China to agree to far more UN sanctions than Trump ever has. Oops.

Durrrrrr.

Trump redrew the electoral map. He has done the things he said he would do. He won the election with comments about grabbing pussies and making fun of those that would run against him. He has in the first two years outed NAFT and replaced it with better deals for America. This guy is much better than many give him credit for. I get what he's doing, watching him push his agenda through while those against him all tell each other how awful he is. His style is different, but too many fools don't seem to understand that different doesn't mean ineffective.

Still waiting for Trumps:

Anti corruption bill
Middle East Peace that was supposed to happen in a few weeks or months
My Wall that Mexico will be happy to pay for
My healthcare that will be better than everything else I’ve ever had it will be, cheaper, have better coverage, fewer deductible, lower co-pays, more doctors, easy to understand and everyone will have an option to have it.

You’re right, ineffective means ineffective. For example, his NAFTA ‘renegotiation’ is 98% the same as the original NAFTA. He alienated our closest trading partners for almost no gain. Then we have his tax bill, which has totally failed at its stated goals, we have his total failure of a health care plan, we have his total failure of an infrastructure plan, etc, etc.

Honestly I wish he were just ineffective, his problem is that his incompetence is so severe that he’s actively harmful.

"American Thinker" is a bit of an oxymoron these days.

I grant you that Trump may have some world leaders on their toes, as they're at a loss to explain his actions. They might prefer that other leaders are more predictable and behave as rational actors on the world stage. They believe in a thing called diplomacy. Trump & Co could care less about any of that.

I'm not just taking about the Chinese either... I'm talking about our staunchest allies.

Yeah "American Thinker" is not a source you want to be citing... for anything. It's less about thinking and more about mindless droning about right wing talking points.

This should be obvious just based on the content of the actual "article". Just another propaganda outlet.

The left's biggest fears are coming true with Trump. He's a successful president that is pushing his agenda through, and he's likable. The left is in fear that people may realize their give everyone a hug overly PC way of doing things may not be the best way forward for our country, and the populace if coming to that realization.

Trump's "genius" appears to be how he is able to play on people's feelings to gain support. I have seen nothing from him in terms of doing anything successful beyond getting and maintaining support.

The play against China has hurt China, but, you have to do more than bring pain. The tariffs are also hurting the US and Global economies. Unless he can achieve something short term then this will fail. The US economy is still strong, but, once it dips people will revolt against this. China has cash that it would dip into and make it appear like they are fine. The American people will not wait a year or two to see how it plays out.

Trump does things nobody else would be willing to do, but, appears incapable of making it into a win. I would bet that its down to his inability. His strategy appears to be a Crazy Ivan approach but, no ability to do anything beyond that.

He’s so likable that a majority of the country said it ‘strongly disapproved’ of him in a recent poll. Lol.

I also can’t think of a president that was less successful at pushing their agenda through when they controlled congress. I really can’t think of one. Trump passed one consequential piece of legislation that has turned out to be an unpopular failure. He failed at everything else.

Come on slow where are those major promises he made?

Come on slow where are those major promises he made?

That promise he made to give everyone cheaper, better health care while protecting people with pre-existing conditions was a pretty big promise.

What’s odd is that he then deliberately sabotaged the US health insurance system and repeatedly attempted to remove protections for people with pre-existing conditions until it all imploded in a giant ball of failure.

That was a prettt big promise.

He said he was going to redraw the electoral map. Done.

Strengthen the military. Done.

Denuclearize NK. In process.

Exposing the leftist media. Done.

He said he was going to negotiate better deals. Done.

Draining the swamp. Done (or still happening).

Building the wall... for reasons like this thread. To do yet.

He said he was going to redraw the electoral map. Done.

Maybe I'll give you this one, but of course he redrew the map anyone who wins redraws the map

Strengthen the military. Done.

Pretty vague

Denuclearize NK. In process.

Not done

Exposing the leftist media. Done.

Pretty vague

He said he was going to negotiate better deals. Done.

Pretty vague

Draining the swamp. Done (or still happening).

Exactly what has been drained?

Building the wall... for reasons like this thread. To do yet.

So its not done

So basically he has done all the easy stuff that benefits him and none of the hard stuff that benefits everyone.

Yeah if there's one thing I think about a guy who has his campaign manager sitting in prison, his personal lawyer on the way to prison, his national security adviser on the way to prison, several other campaign members on their way to prison, his son in law and eldest son likely to be indicted and his businesses' CFO testifying in exchange for immunity it's someone who is totally 'draining the swamp'.

The sheer volume of Trump associates headed to prison or likely headed to prison is truly impressive. He's giving Nixon a run for his money.

Hitler was wildly successful in rejuvenating the German economy too ya know. He was fairly likeable too, as long as you weren't a minority.

I'm pretty sure history will remember Trump as the closest thing to an "American Hitler" and the furthest we've strayed from our founding principles.

Remember how after Germany was defeated and Nazi officers brought to trial, all those Hitler fans just disappeared? The German volks never really liked him, right? I hope a similar thing happens to Trumpists when all is said and done.

SPECIFICALLY what has he done for the first one?

NK - is laughing at us and playing him like a chump

The mean leftists - reporting what he says.

Throwing out NAFTA and replacing it with 99% NAFTA feels like fiddling around the edges.

LOL, the fucking swamp is growing by the day........

The "wall" is just a running joke at this point.

He's only doing the things he said he would do if elected. The Hitler comparisons only show what melodramatic fools the left have become. Any exaggeration to create victims.

This is more of an opinion piece, I don't think you'll agree but please read it and reflect.

Stuff you are claiming and stuff Trump is doing sounds awfully familiar

Step 2: Hitler’s Promises to Germany
Hitler Made many promises to the country of Germany in order to come to power. Most of the promises he made, he did not keep. After WWII Germany signed the Treaty of versailles which was the main cause of Germany's economic problems at the time. The U.S. made loans to Germany to help with its failing economy. But when the market crashed in 1929, the U.S. could not continue to help out Germany. This helped set up Hitler perfectly. The people of Germany wee looking for someone who could help fix all of the ongoing problems they were facing in Germany. At the time they had lost faith in their governments ability to take care of its citizens. Hitler believed he could help the people in Germany and he promised them all relief. He also promised jobs for the unemployed and a market for the farmers goods. Hitler began to appeal to peoples emotions instead of their reason. The people of Germany heard what they wanted to hear and ignored the violence of the Nazi party. Hitler blamed Germany's problems on the "corrupt" politicians, communists, and Jews. He told Germany that if they got rid of them, all of Germany's problems would vanish and the whole country would improve. Many people in Germany protested Hitler's ideas and reasoning. They put blame on him for all of Germany's problems. The people that did disagree with Hitler were faced with violence. Many were forced to leave the country to save their lives.

The only ones creating victims out of thin air are the Trumptards who think civil rights are a zero sum game.

And I never said that Trump was Hitler or a Nazi. Just that he's the closest thing to a modern post-Hitler fascist/nationalist we've ever elected to high office. In fact, I think Hitler was a lot smarter than Trump, and way more effective at creating a leadership structure and state apparatus that supported his agenda.

You sound like someone who doesn't realize that the history of this period in America is already being defined and written by the Resistance. Your volks already lost the culture war...again.
