Haha, this is my favorite argument because it shows even you guys know what a shit show Trump is. 'I voted for Trump because liberals were MEAN TO ME'.

Was flipping channels and ran into an interview with a lady Trump supporter and then she mentioned the epic catch-all of all catch-all excuses for Trump's gross incompetence and disgraceful behavior when she uttered "Trump is gonna Trump". I was expecting her to back up her nebulously dismissive remark with some kind of logical explanation but hey, who am I kidding?

The only ones creating victims out of thin air are the Trumptards who think civil rights are a zero sum game.

And I never said that Trump was Hitler or a Nazi. Just that he's the closest thing to a modern post-Hitler fascist/nationalist we've ever elected to high office. In fact, I think Hitler was a lot smarter than Trump, and way more effective at creating a leadership structure and state apparatus that supported his agenda.

You sound like someone who doesn't realize that the history of this period in America is already being defined and written by the Resistance. Your volks already lost the culture war...again.

I don't think you realize that you are the one clutching on to outdated ideas, outdated stereotypes. You are the one on the wrong side of history. Can you tell me the benefits of an unsecure border? I'm fine for us helping other countries rise, but not at our expense. Us doers are tired of being taken advantage of some the lazy do-nothings can live off of my tax dollars. The left has destroyed the fabric of society and wonder why things are so bad... their answer? Blame Trump!

Yeh, you're a real doer, spending your days posting right wing drivel & affirmations of Faith in our Great Leader.

You're unironically going to work harder, depending on level of income, because of the disproportionate tax cuts (trickle down taxation), and with less public services because of budget slashing and the increase in the federal budget deficit.

The mos laughable thing is that Trump and friends are reaping the profits while misdirecting you towards the caravan

"Can you tell me the benefits of an [in]secure border"? That's a serious question?

Look, it's impossible to argue with someone who willfully surrenders to the lies perpetuated by the Trump state.

They've convinced you that the choice between right and left is secure vs. open borders.

They've also convinced you that these immigrants are "lazy do nothings" stealing from you rather than making valuable contributions (many paying taxes.)

You choose to ignore facts. Like the fact that Obama ramped up deportations. That Democrats sought a fix to children born of illegals that would close the loophole (DACA). Enjoy your ignorance.

You’re right, ineffective means ineffective. For example, his NAFTA ‘renegotiation’ is 98% the same as the original NAFTA. He alienated our closest trading partners for almost no gain. Then we have his tax bill, which has totally failed at its stated goals, we have his total failure of a health care plan, we have his total failure of an infrastructure plan, etc, etc.

Honestly I wish he were just ineffective, his problem is that his incompetence is so severe that he’s actively harmful.

I have one problem with your post. Him and Republicans were intent on it being actively harmful. Can you imagine how bad things would be if they were able to just get their way instead of constantly blundering and fucking up their antagonistic policies?

and he's likable
Nobody likes him. I for one find every single thing he does abhorrent, yes, without exception.

The Chinese people don't give a rats ass about him much less have regard for his mind (which is pathetically uncultivated).

Enjoy your ignorance.
Ignorance is celebrated all over in a capitalist system. Major portions of the economy depend on it. People are patted on the head constantly in an effort to keep them in a senseless stupor.

Trump's visit to China confirmed he's as uneducated as they suspected, from everything I've seen they consider him something in between a paper tiger and a money-obsessed hedonist.

What respect they've sent his way has been done explicitly for Xi's image at home. If the Chinese liked him so much they wouldn't be trying to undercut his domestic support by targeting his base. Generally though they approve of our country having "leaders" like Trump and Bush, i.e. soft, short sighted idiots with few morals who don't like to read. Same for Putin obviously.

Trump presidency is the result of Americans moral, ethical and middle class economic decay in the race to the bottom were greed is good, selfishness is a virtue, and profit only matters.

led by our supposed intellectual liberal elite along with their "family values" conservatives alter ego's who sold their souls and the country for the Almighty dollar while pretending to represent the voters who put them in office.

That's like some retarded version of one of Moonies posts. Whereas I don't always agree with Moonie at least his posts are well thought out, articulate enjoyable to read...

Bothsiderism is tedious & dishonest in the face of GOP malevolence towards the People.

I'll ask again. Who do you think best represents what you want America to be (asking for the name of a national leader here)? What actual policies do you favor? You're always shit posting about how much everyone and everything sucks how about giving us some idea of what the fuck would make you happy?

The left's biggest fears are coming true with Trump. He's a successful president that is pushing his agenda through, and he's likable. The left is in fear that people may realize their give everyone a hug overly PC way of doing things may not be the best way forward for our country, and the populace if coming to that realization.
The problem is that the left's worst fears about him ARE coming true. The left feared he'd alienate our allies while embracing dictator's, coming true. They feared he'd ruin healthcare, coming true. They feared he'd embrace xenophobia and white nationalism, coming true. They feared he'd give massive tax cuts to the wealthy which have ALWAYS had the effect of hurting the economy, coming true. They feared he'd ignore, shit on, actively destroy the Constitution, coming true. They feared he'd fill his administration with nothing but sycophants there to enrich themselves at the expense of the nation while running the most corrupt admin ever, well past coming true, this came true and is accelerating. They feared he'd sell out the country for personal gain, coming true.

The only people he's likable to are foreign powers hellbent on seeing the destruction of America, and fucking Nazis (yes, I know you fall into one of those two groups).

It's also about self-unaware irony though.

lol, this "doer" shit again. What do you do besides parrot unoriginal talking points on this forum all day and brag about your $70 per paycheck tax break? In case you haven't figured it out, many (most?) people here contribute more to the economy and more in taxes than you do.

That's why the conservatives are using the government to legislate and enforce culture... again. Can't win the hearts of the people so they have to oppress everyone they see as different than them. While pretending that not being able to oppress others means they're somehow oppressed.
