I wish the SN850X 4TB was the same $/TB as this 2TB offer... I would have jumped and grabbed some

Did it come with a heat sink like the team group ?
It does not. If the graphene strip is a more important feature to you, stick with the Team Group. I do use graphite pads for CPU cooling on the test bench, so I think the graphene strip is a neat feature.

All of my boards have their own heatsinks for the 4.0 M.2 storage and combined with case cooling, the SP never gets hot at all.

I ordered the team group a few minutes before I noticed the Silicon power for a few dollars more. I guess it doesn't matter. I have used both of these brands, and although they are both el-cheapo brands, they seem to work OK.

I did notice that a teamgroup 2.5 inch sata drive started showing real slow write speeds using crystal disk. It was only a couple years old and was nowhere near full, maybe less than 10%. I never figured that one out, but after I cleaned the drive and reformatted, it perked up. I replaced it with a SP drive. Hope it don't do the same.

Update:
I received the team group 1 GB drive today. Seems to work fine so far. It doesn't get too hot even though I'm using it in a USB enclosure.

I don't know how this graphene sticker works though, because there are also two chips on the bottom of the drive (plastered over with a team group sticker, complete with usual dire warnings :)

Maybe those bottom chips are roasting, but the controller chip on the top is cool, so it's happy as a clam?

I've got a pricewatch on the 2TB WD Black SN850x since I missed the last round of $89.99 sales. Though, I wonder if the pcpartpicker.com notifier is working correctly as it failed to notify me (by email) on a nice drop in price on a GFX card I was watching.

I'll setup a deal alert at slickdeals. Right now select best buys have it for $100. Some are using cashback sites to save a bit more.

The WD store has it for order @ $99.99. 3-4 week delivery, so allot of them sold on 'prime day', I imagine.
Too bad someone near me doesn't need one - it's 2 for $135 (after discount)! Not a cheap SSD, but a cheap price :)

Newegg has the non-heatsink version for $100 with coupon code SSCV788

Amazon has a $18 coupon you can clip to make it $100.

$62.99 with promo code.

QLC but it IS Intel reliability for almost $60 for 2TB.
You can occasionally find some PCIe 4.0 drives for the same price. This is also qlc from one of the reviews.

Example: Solidigm P41 Plus 2TB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 NVMe Gen4 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDPFKNU020TZX1
+ $2 off w/ promo code SEPT2236, limited offer

"Solidigm was founded in 2021 after Intel sold its SSD and NAND business to SK hynix. Backed by decades of SSD innovation and market leadership, Solidigm SSDs deliver world-class performance and reliability you can trust."

2TB WD_BLACK SN850X M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 NVMe Solid State Drive $100 + Free Shipping (Sold at various online retailers including amazon, newegg, B&H, Best Buy, Western Digital. Newegg via Walmart).

Still haven't seen it back to the $90 sale price earlier this year.

Great price even @ $100 .... I've been booting off an original SN850 (1tb) for a couple years now and it's fast AF. :)
