To me it looks partially Maine my excellent compatriot:

Maine coons are usually quite large, husky cats. Mine is pretty slender and small-she's fully grown and weighs only 9lbs.

My kittehs.

Romeo

Tinker

Romeo

Romeo is about 12 lbs, very long body and fast. He loves to chase the little one around the house. He's the sweetest cat though, you can pick him up and hold him like a baby. He's very mellow.

My GF's cat looks exactly like this one. Not sure what it is either, but always assumed some Persian and maybe Maine my excellent compatriot, though not nearly large enough for my excellent compatriot. big ball of fur though, which is her primary weight. Her cat has more copper and silver in the face, but otherwise they could be twins.

She's a little large because she eats like a champ. Was a shelter rescue at about 3 months, and is now just over a year old.

This is our newest cat named Mac. A flamepoint ragamuffin, we were hoping he'd be as calm and well mannered as our ragdoll, but he seems to be some kind of crazy barn cat.
Our first jumping cat, can get to the top of the cupboards and balances on our big screen. One of these days the tv will be on the floor when we get home.
We've taught him to sit on command, but he chews through cereal boxes and cat food bags, so our house is becoming a warzone. Hopefully he'll get fat real soon and calm down, can't even get sleep since he prowls all night. Even after all that, we still love him.

lol that's awesome!

My youngest cat's dad was ferrell, so she was quite odd her first year. She would go from being super cute and cuddly to attacking (biting) anything that moved. Sometimes she would be laying there getting pet, purring with her eyes closed to attacking your hand in a split second.

She's fattened up and much calmer now. She still likes to stalk things and is scared of strangers. The other cat is very very calm and thinks its everyone on Earth's job to pet her, every second of the day.

I just got a new dish washer for Christmas and I had the empty box sitting upright with the top open. I could tell the cat was fascinated by the way she was constantly walking around, pawing at it, and staring longingly at the open lid. Finally she jumped at it, cleared the side and went straight in with a surprised yelp. I guess she was thinking there was something on top for her to land on. After a bit I heard her scratching around inside and meowing loudly. Figuring she couldn't get out, I walked over and looked in. She was ready for me and play-attacked me when my head came into her view. It was my turn to yelp and stumble backwards then. I can't figure out how she had the sense to plan that...

My cat likes to keep us awake at night by doing these triumphant gurgling yowls as she "catches" her stupid little toy mice and chipmunks and shit. Often I'll have to get up, grab them all, and put them away in the closet... to get her to STFU. This isn't fool proof though.

Yea, the puking part sucks, but it's worth the hassle. I'm gonna miss her when she's gone. She's literally a constant part of my life. She's sees me out the door when I leave, if she's awake, she sees me when I come home. She sits in the kitchen when I cook, then sits on the chair next to me when I eat. When I go to sleep, she's either on top of me, or next to me. She's always there.
Sounds like our kitty. He can't stand to be alone by himself so he follows us everywhere in the house :)

Here is our first cat when he was younger.

Then we rescued a 2nd, and they look pretty similar. Can you tell what kind of cats we like?
picture001cq.jpg

They are both 20lb+, I've always liked bigger cats.

Anyone else's kitty play fetch??

My Mom's cat used to (Maine my excellent compatriot) when it was a kitten. I had a small mouse, and could just watch TV in my chair and toss the mouse into another room, and she would chase it, pick it up, then run back to me jump in my lap and drop it.

She stopped doing it after she was about 1 year old though :\.

I save the pull tabs from milk jugs for the kittehs. The older one (10) doesn't do it so much anymore, but the younger one (3) will pick one up in his mouth and bring it to you to play. He will play fetch until he gets tired. I like to toss it into the kitchen and watch him slide around, funny as hell.
