The butter on her e-mails is officially rancid, can we throw them out now?

It ain't over until the fat lady sings

This is very simple. Find a single prosecutor willing to take this case to court based on multiple investigations finding only minor, retroactive infractions.

Go on. We'll wait. Your party is in power and owns the AG and state department.

We'll wait...

Until then, you'll have to realize your claims look like "I dOn'T lIkE tHe ReSuLtS aNd DeMaNd We KeEp tRyInG UnTiL wE gEt tHe rEsUlTs i wAnT!!!!

Yes, even after Trump's State Department, run by hyper-partisan lackey Pompeo, once again investigates Clinton's e-mails (and those of the entire State Department under Clinton), and they found, drumroll please, exactly what the FBI determined three years ago: no evidence of intentional wrongdoing and no systemic problems in the handling of e-mails.

Oh, but they did find 91 individual "infractions" - a meaningless number unless or until we conduct similar investigations of prior State Departments and Trump's own SD for comparison. But that, of course, wasn't the agend
a here, as it would be to anyone sincerely concerned about cyber-security.

Are we done yet, or is this another eternal right wing faux scandal that we'll still be hearing about in 2050?

Is Hillary dead yet? There is your answer.

Maybe the GOP should build the wall with Hillary's emails because people can't seem to get over them...
I love how much Hillary has owned the GOP. She’s been living in their heads for rent free for like 25 years.

Her emails totally owning them.

(am I doing it right?)

Why would they expect to find something new if they don't have the deleted emails?

The real question is why people keep expecting to find some sort of crime despite extensive investigations that showed no crimes.

At some point people will need to come to grips with reality. It was entirely obvious to anyone with a brain that there was no criminal wrongdoing from the beginning, it was just a mix of dishonest people and crazy people who made it into an issue.

Really? Guess the fact that the FBI recovered the deleted emails in early 2017 is meaningless when you're thowing mud, eh?

And if your intention isn't to slime (yeah, right), wonder why the deleted email comment without doing one iota of research to find out why they (the deleted emails) had gone unmentioned during this new "investigation."

sure, but that's not the server hidden in the Ukraine.

i wish that was a joke, unfortunately it's a primary factor behind the Trump/Giuliani shadow Ukranian policy. they actually believe the crazy conspiracy which means the followers do as well.

This is going to be one of those times when people will disagree on what the "truth" is, I have my opinion and these facts.

"Although in the end that may have been the case, we now are learning that Comey’s top lawyer, then-FBI General Counsel James Baker, initially believed Clinton deserved to face criminal charges, but was talked out of it “pretty late in the process.”

The revelation is contained in testimony Baker gave to House investigators last year. His testimony has not been publicly released, but I was permitted to review a transcript.

During questioning by Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-Texas), Baker was unequivocal about his early view that Clinton should face criminal charges.

“I have reason to believe that you originally believed it was appropriate to charge Hillary Clinton with regard to violations of law — various laws, with regard to mishandling of classified information. Is that accurate?” Ratcliffe, a former federal prosecutor, asked Baker.

Baker paused to gain his lawyer’s permission to respond, and then answered, “Yes.” "

He later explained why he came to that conclusion, and how his mind was changed:

Pretty unequivocal that FBI General Councel James Baker believed with cause that Hillary had broken the law.

Why are there no numbers in that article? Pretty sure the overwhelming bulk of the messages would be unrecoverable if BleachBit did what it is supposed to do.

I think it's funny that you're still obsessed with Hillary's emails, but don't care in the slightest that the President is openly corrupt and using his office for personal gain. Oh, and that he also has a private server.

The buttery males have passed into the realm of conspiracy theory myth & legend like the Kennedy assassinations, Saint Ronnie, 9/11 truthers, Iraqi WMD's, Ben-fucking-ghazi & many more. There are always residual believers in whatever big lie can be told. There's no reasoning with them.

I assume they got access to everyone on her contact list's email and found the missing ones that way, but that's just a guess.

Who's obsessed? Not me, it's a thread at ATP&N. If the rest is true we'll see it come out in an impeachment, if and when it ever get voted on in the House.

Whenever GOP propagandists want to put the flock into an irrational thinking mode they bring up the Buttery Males. They're thoroughly mind fucked over the whole thing and somehow seem to find satisfaction in it in some strange fashion. They'll always believe she had nefarious intent, even if they can't figure out what it might have been. She must be hiding something, Goddamnit, and they just know it. She's one of them, the enemy, the evil Liberals.

Well FBI General Counsel James Baker sure thought she broke the law, and he'd know, he had far more information than anyone else in this thread.

"Um, not really. Let me count the ways in which the Clinton email setup ≠ the Powell email setup:
1. Clinton exclusively used a private email account to conduct State Department business. Powell did not.

2. Clinton had a private email server, located at her house. Powell did not.
3. The rules governing electronic communication changed considerably — and got more strict — between Powell's time in office and Clinton's. This from the essential WaPo Fact Checker:

After Powell left office in 2005, and through 2011, the State Department’s guidance for private email use was “considerably more detailed and more sophisticated.”
In 2002, there was a new requirement for email users to “determine the significance and value of information created on e-mail systems [and] determine the need to preserve those messages that qualify as records.” Rules for nongovernment information systems for the State Department were established in May 2004, toward the end of Powell’s tenure.
Clinton’s email use should be evaluated in the context of the clearer guidance under her tenure, and the various memorandums “specifically discussing the obligation” for officials to use department systems in most circumstances, the report said. “Secretary Clinton’s cybersecurity practices accordingly must be evaluated in light of these more comprehensive directives,” the report said."

That posted, if Powell did anything illegal i'm all for an investigation and a prosecution.

Yada, yada, yada. If Clinton's admitted use of her private server was illegal, she obviously would have been indicted by now. She hasn't been & never will be, telling us all we need to know about that scurrilous accusation.

It’s amazing how people can find one person in the DOJ that agrees with them and totally thinks validates they’re thinking/suspicions while totally ignoring the DOJ, as a whole, who came to a different conclusion.

It’s the same logic behind believing climate change isn’t real because you find 1% of climate scientists who agree with you while ignoring the 99% who disagree with you.
