And for the record: almost every politican will say one thing, then contradic themselves to please voters (democrat or republican). I hate it too. So i agree with you when a politican contradicts himself, it's annoying, but dont single out one group when it occurs on both sides. Thats why i pointed Hilary out, cause it's a double standard if you only point out a certain group (Bush) when other people do it too (Hilary).

Look at france and germany they said in resolution 1441 that IF iraq fails to disarm or disrupts inspections then they MUST use force. Now they are trying to retract that and say that's not what they meant. So singleing out bush makes you appear to not hate contradicting politicans as much as you hate bush--which shows your true colors.

How is this like Bush's double speak? Hillary is not saying one thing to the public and then doing something completly different in action. Her policy regarding Iraq may be a bit confusing, but it has nothing to do with spurting dishonest soundbites.

I have? First of all I never commented about the topic of this thread this until after your post. Secondly if I had I wouldn't consider Hilary Clinton as a Politician that mirrored my political views. On the contrary, I am not a big fan of hers. The topic of this thread was regarding a link that pointed out Bushes alleged lack of credibility as President. The only comparison that would be valid IMO would be that of Hilary's husband.

OK, with that out of the way let me say that I do agree with your point that what Bush is doing is a common practice among politicians of both parties

The disgusting part of this whole thing is that this stupid page is being paid for by all of us (notice it's on the house.gov server on a subdir controlled by democrat David Obey). If he wants to go pay a hosting company to house this, by my fricken guest, but why in the world are my tax dollars going to create and host this? And yes, I would feel the same if this was an anti-clinton page housed on government servers by the republicans.
