also this little gem

Are you tired of Hilary because recently she's been a bouncing ball on the issue of iraq. No one knows where she stands--i dont think she does either. But she just keeps pleasing the croud.

Funny how you didn't mention this. But if you did know about this, then you my friend have a double standard issue.

Scratches head.. what has Hilary have to do with this? She's a Senator from New York not the President of the US.

Just pointing out a double standard that you have red.
And for the record: almost every politican will say one thing, then contradic themselves to please voters (democrat or republican). I hate it too. So i agree with you when a politican contradicts himself, it's annoying, but dont single out one group when it occurs on both sides. Thats why i pointed Hilary out, cause it's a double standard if you only point out a certain group (Bush) when other people do it too (Hilary).

Look at france and germany they said in resolution 1441 that IF iraq fails to disarm or disrupts inspections then they MUST use force. Now they are trying to retract that and say that's not what they meant. So singleing out bush makes you appear to not hate contradicting politicans as much as you hate bush--which shows your true colors.

She's related, my marriage, to Bill Clinton and everything is his fault including Bush's credibility chasm.

How is this like Bush's double speak? Hillary is not saying one thing to the public and then doing something completly different in action. Her policy regarding Iraq may be a bit confusing, but it has nothing to do with spurting dishonest soundbites.

Wish someone would have created a page like this for Clinton. It would have been a mile long!

Besides, Bush has a reason for this stuff. He is facing difficult times for this country. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

So because there are hard times in this country Bush has to stray from the "compassionate conservativism" that he campaigned on and instead become reactionary??

I have? First of all I never commented about the topic of this thread this until after your post. Secondly if I had I wouldn't consider Hilary Clinton as a Politician that mirrored my political views. On the contrary, I am not a big fan of hers. The topic of this thread was regarding a link that pointed out Bushes alleged lack of credibility as President. The only comparison that would be valid IMO would be that of Hilary's husband.

OK, with that out of the way let me say that I do agree with your point that what Bush is doing is a common practice among politicians of both parties

So if you promise your son a corvette when he turns 16, and then when he is 14, you get divorced, layed off, and can barely live you would still buy that corvette for your son? I guess people don't care about financial responsibility anymore

The disgusting part of this whole thing is that this stupid page is being paid for by all of us (notice it's on the house.gov server on a subdir controlled by democrat David Obey). If he wants to go pay a hosting company to house this, by my fricken guest, but why in the world are my tax dollars going to create and host this? The page itself says "Produced by the House Appropriations Committee ? Minority Contact: David Sirota (202) 225-3481"

And yes, I would feel the same if this was an anti-clinton page housed on government servers by the republicans.

It's more like promising your son college at age 3 then squandering away his college fund over the next 15 years.

That is NOT what 1441 says. Why don't you go back and read it, because it does not use the word "force" anywhere.

And there is no proof Hitler ever ordered the "Final Solution" but everyone knows he did. Just like EVERYONE knew what would happen IF saddam didn't disarm.

Mob boss nods to other mobster, then some dies. According to you the mob boss didn't order the hit because he didn't say to kill him--but he meant it. Read between the lines.
