that was the main theme of the book and it wasn't part of the movies at all.

The only thing connecting the movies to the books is a character with amnesia by the name Jason Bourne. I ike what they've done with the Bourne series as movies....but I'd love to see movie trilogy actually following the books.

Curious, what was wrong with them adding the girl scene at the end of Supremacy? I liked that scene, seemed to tie up the loose ends rather nicely. Sure, he didn't need to visit her, but his character calculated everything so perfectly, it just made sense that he'd make up for his mistake down the line. Perhaps that makes the character too perfect.

exactly, it's not that i disliked the movies. i just would like to have seen the movies done in the true spirit of the book.

but frankly, i'm not sure i would have chosen matt damon for the part, he looks a little young to me to be bourne.

you mean the book was written in 197x?

i read the book when i was 12 yrs old that would be 1977. i doubt the characters dob according to the author was 197x.
