Never got into the whole Facebook thing. Only social networking site I use is StumbleUpon. I tend to make fun of anyone using the big 3 Facebook, Myspace, Twitter etc... But some day I'll probably join when I get some friends 🙂

Ugh, please don't group FB in with those two retarded social networking outcasts. If you avoid the games and other shitty applications, FB is actually a great way to interact meaningfully with people at a distance, share photos, and yes, even get laid.

Myspace gives me epilepsy and Twitter kills more brain cells than a night full of tequila shots.

Having grown up without the Internet and living a good 30 years before it existed, I can't explain sufficiently just how awesome the Internet is. Imagine installing Computer Hardware without a Manual, no info printed on the PCB, and no Internet. It can be done, as I did it myself, but it is risky and rather annoying. Back then you took your chances with Trial/Error(my method of choice) or you went to the Library and searched Computer mags with the hope of stumbling upon such things. These days I can find detailed Instructions within minutes and not having to physically go anywhere.

Even working on other stuff like a car, TV, refrigerator, etc. required a LOT of travel, photocopies, and hoping it was OK to leave something dangling there while you were out to get more info because you forgot or something happened unexpectedly. Nowadays, I just prop a laptop up near where I'm working, and the job gets done a LOT faster.

You used to have to buy tons of Books and even then what you might want to make may still not be available and/or those Books would overlap in most areas while pretty much ignore areas of Cuisine you might be interested in. These days you have, practically, every Recipe in existence not only for Free, but easily found without spending hours manually searching through a stack of Books.

This shit is easily as revolutionary as the Automobile and probably much more so.
