Keep rubbing it in and we will double the amount of pollution we are sending north . . .

NP, we'll sell you double the amount of Oil to let you do it! :D
It is great that Vancouver rank very high on the chart, but I much prefer Victoria over Vancouver (I have lived in Vancouver, and presently reside in Victoria).

IMHO, Victoria, Ottawa, and Vancouver has to be the top 3 Canadian cities.

Ya, I agree Victoria is nicer, but it's also quite a bit smaller.

Correct. Remember what these rankings are used for. These are used to assess quality of life for international executives, who need a set of services that many amazing but smaller places cannot provide for lack of demand.

A traveling businessman weights the factors somewhat differently than a resident of the middle class, but both consider mainly the same factors, I think. Size for sure is a factor but Zurich isn't that big (370 000 inhabitants, 1 m with agglomeration). However I'm wondering how Bern, Switzerland made it to the 9th rank, its infrastructure must be amazing considering that only 128 000 people live there.

It's deplorable that with Swiss success, some people developed an antipathy for the country but to a certain degree, that's probably unavoidable. There are some form fields reserved for US citizens on the Swiss tax return, by the way, so the American treasury should get its taxes...

Singapore wins the clean prize. The place almost looks artificial. I believe they outlawed dirt, too.

These people aren't the smartest in the world
The top five cities in Asia were:

Auckland (tied for 5th)
Sydney (tied for 9th)
Wellington (12th)
Melbourne (17th)
Perth (21st)

Since when are these cities in Asia?

I could agree with Vancouver, Portland, and Seattle, but SF, Boston, NYC, Boston, Chicago, not sure about Honolulu. Bogus results.

SF is a great place to live if you don't mind dropping 7-figures to get half of a Victorian. Living in a city that periodically burns down or is in peril of falling into the ocean could be considered a negative.

Boston, NYC, and Chicago are archetypes for the American metropolis. Personally, I don't get the appeal but try telling that to people that live there.

Burns down ? You mean has a chance to burn down via earthquakes right ? Last big social disturbance had to do with this guy named Rodney King and from what I understand several other cities were also effected. I agree about the sky high home prices and earthquake concerns.

Thanks

Why because I don't like Washington D.C?
It is a boring city. It might be fun if you are visiting but living in this area sucks.

California > D.C area x 1,000

You haven't even responded to the quote you have of me in your signature. I am right, are you? Prove otherwise.

I served for this nation for 2 years right after H.S. What have you done? After I graduate from school in 3 years I plan on enlisting as an officer for the Air Force. You?

I am Jewish by blood. For you to even suggest Mecca shows you have no knowledge of me at all.

Exactly.

Aimster,

The only thing you have proven is that you will say anything online to win an argument.

I doubt you will join the Airforce, you hate the country too much. I think its just another lie by Aimster to get attention and prove a point.

you can think whatever you want to think.

You have failed to show that I hate this country. I simply point out facts.

Why don't you prove my information to be false rather than cry like a little brat about it.

I NEVER ARGUE WITH YOU. YOU DON'T BRING FACTS TO THE TABLE. YOU JUST QUOTE MY FACTS WITHOUT ARGUING THEM

You are nothing but a bigot.

Personal opinion?

U.S gave chemical weapons to a terrorist state to kill civilians.

Has Iran done such a thing? NO.

There you have it. Now go cry a river in the corner.

I think he's chuckling because Corbett won't ever join the Military, but will bang the drum of War like his life depends on it.

Wrong. The US gave weapons to a country who ended up USING them to kill innocent civilians which was not their inteded purpose. Try again.
