Weird, I was just looking at this site earlier tonight. My guess is most of the top beers are either made overseas and not exported to the States, or are microbreweries that few people are actually able to find. That being said, I want to try them. 🙂 My current favorite beer is Warsteiner. What are your guys' favorites/recommendations?

hah,
top 50 beers in the world and most of em are american companies...yeah right

I agree with the Sammy Smith and the Bell's, but Bell's Cherry Stout and something from Dogfishhead should be on there.

Almost all those beers are pretty easy to find, but you're not going to see them in the beer section at the Piggly Wiggly. Every city has a package store or two that specialize in exotic imports and microbrews. My favorite has an entire wall devoted to oddball beers, they'll have a couple of hundred varieties in stock at any given time and sell by the bottle. That makes it easy to sample since you don't waste time and money buying 6-packs of dogs. Call some local liquor stores and ask about their microbrew selection. Most will not have anything useful, but the ones that do will be proud of it.
