I brought the entire Beatles discography on a flashdrive to work with me. I was going to bring more music after (limited by flash drive size...), but I didn't. The Beatles deliverrr

I like several Beatles songs, but there is a bunch of their stuff that makes my ears cry.

I like the Beatles, although I hate that album that's over half instrumental, and WEIRD instrumental. I think it's Yellow Submarine.

I like some but a lot of it no. But you have to look at the time period and how they helped change music, that is what really sets them apart

I don't care for much by the Beatles. I think they got lucky by being in the right place at the right time.

You're talking about that one that doesn't exist except in your mind?

He might be thinking about Pepperland, but I think it was released as the soundtrack of a film or something...

No, he's right. The original soundtrack album to the Yellow Submarine was predominantly the instrumental tracks that play in the background during the film (for example, when the gang is moving through the foothills of the headlands or the sea of holes). An updated soundtrack was released with the rerelease of the movie in the 90s which was composed solely of songs with lyrics, which could mostly be found on the albums Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Revolver.

I think I prefer their later stuff, as I find their early stuff too poppy for my tastes. I prefer the Stones over that same period.

Agreed, Hell, I'd take The Doors over the Beatles too.

The Beatles shaped music from the time they started until forever. Music today is what it is because of what they did. No other band has had a greater influence across so many genres.
