While I've provided many links here to prove that Christ never existed, telling everyone is not a good thing. Then again, perhaps the title and opening date will bring people into the theater with their mind already made up that it is Satan that is behind this. Perhaps not. Either way, messing with the very fabric that makes civilization what it is, and not understanding its consequences, is a very dangerous thing. Telling the world that Christ never existed may have profound effects, at the very least on the makers of this movie.
Not everyone can handle the truth.

It's always amusing to hear the atheists come out of the woodwork in support of anti-Christian activity, particularly when the activity is a production of fiction. If you're an atheist, why take any time at all to even consider Christianity? Why don't you just shake your head and move merrily on your way?

There is at least a point of dispute regarding the reality of Christ. This work, as well as the Da Vinci Code, are pure works of fiction. You will find them under 'fiction' in the library. They are fictitious works. The Bible may or may not be. I don't see Christians chomping at the bit to make movies defaming atheists, but maybe that's just me. Feel free to back up your claim with examples.Originally posted by: miketheidiot
What about christians coming out of the woodwork to support the most famous piece of fiction of all?

geewiz...have to be careful here fore I notice that you may not be playing with a full deck...anyway, how can there be a satan if there is no Creator? Is there a living testimonal to his creation other than what is spoken in the bible? I could go on but it would be pointless...a waste of time and energy...have a good one Dari...
oh yea...handling the truth...its right in front of you and you aren't even aware of it...you have a free will like everyone and you have made your choices...so be it...

Despite the campy elements I thought "Prince of Darkness" was a very good movie. But I agree with some of the toad stools that posted previously . . . the militant Christians will incinerate any theater that shows this movie. I hope the budget is frugal b/c this bad boy is going straight to video. I wonder if I can put it in my Netflix queue?

Ya, I liked that movie, but I don't recall any king of controversy about it.
