I guess it's OK that we spent billions of dollars on a bridge that could collapse because of shoddy engineering.

I bet the original bridge sections were safer than the one they built to replace it.

They are now since they have been retrofitted. Probably safer even if it wasn't retrofitted.

No what we don't need are stupid government union workers/bureaucrats that can't be fired/replaced as their union bosses have all the Democrats in Sacramento well fed with union dues financing their political campaigns.
