Then I am sure you would agree the Soros funded such as Media Matters or Atlantic Council are equally culpable in disseminating false flag and other propaganda materials. I mean, these are evil billionaires so I am sure one would treat any billionaire as a parasite on the body politic.
Don't have any particular opinion about Soros. But he is just another data point for the case that capitalism doesn't play well with democracy. And on the whole, quite possibly including Soros to some degree, and allowing for all the other factors that pull people in different ways and cause random variations for individuals, people with lots of money tend, as a group, to be most concerned about the interests of people with lots of money. So that's what they, on average, are going to use their money to lobby for.
The Cato institute (who are libertarians) is just one of umpteen 'think tanks' (aka intellectual lobby groups for the wealthy) funded by the 0.1%. Most annoying aspect of it in the UK at least, is how most of them get classed as 'charities' (and are funded by rich Americans to try and influence UK politics in their interests)
(I mean, you have rich Americans owning the tabloid newspapers at the mass market end, and other rich Americans funding 'think tanks' at the intellectual end - they have it all covered)
