Their "defense force" is pretty well equipped with modern US technology,has a pretty significant size and cooperates pretty well w/ the US. Not too big, but hardly "zero real military"

I'm really not worried about China. It would be economic suicide for them to go to war with the west, and completely ruin them as a country, regardless of the outcome of the war.

Russia, Iran, and NK are the most potentially troublesome situations IMO.

If/when there is a WW3, there is no doubt in my mind that it will be the US that sets the whole thing off. We need to just back out of everyone elses business..

Can't have a world war without the US. Though looking at the other 2, the US tries to stay out of them until dragged in.

I can't see WW3 happening the way the world is right now. There is no military alliance that's anywhere near as powerful as NATO, and any country that finds itself in a war against a NATO country will have a tough time finding allies. Countries weren't exactly lining up to come to the aid of Iraq or Afghanistan since that would be suicide.

Now the west starts faltering economically compared to the rest of the world that could change, but that will take a while.

Japan's military has a pretty powerful Navy, not comparable to the super powers but still very strong. And they've aptly named their military the Japanese Self-Defense Force (JSDF). :)

To determine what the Chinese would do, just think about $$$$$$$$$$$.

There would be no way China would ally with Iran, Russia, NK, or ANYONE that's fighting against the US. If anything, China would try to be as neutral as possible.

If China had to fight, it would be forced to side with the US in any future world war because that's where its most valuable market lies. Even if China wins a war against the US, what does it gain? Certainly not better access to US markets since the country would be in horrible financial shape. Besides, China already has nearly unfettered access to US markets. China also has huge business with many allies of the US: Japan, Europe, Australia, etc. Would they really risk that business for what???? .... Iran and Russian economies?????? You guys are some dumb dipshts.

That's what most are saying, China and Russia aren't going to be stepping into a war against the US anytime soon. So there won't be any real world wars. Only major wars will be insane leaders committing their nation to suicide while trying to do as much damage as they can to their neighbor/enemies (N.K. doing as much damage as they can to S.K., Japan, US or Iran doing as much damage as they can to Israel, US, other nearby countries they hate).

If you think Iran can wipe Israel out your living in a dream world. Israel would absolutely destroy Iran. They don't state it, but everyone knows, Israel has nukes.
Israel has the know how and the fortitude to obliterate the Iranian leadership. And that's really all that has to be done. Once the leadership is taken out, the Green party would take control and Iran wouldn't be a problem anymore.

Palestinians might need to watch out during this as any rumbling from them in that time would be dealt with swiftly and harshly.

LOL, why wouldn't China and the USA work together? We're the two most powerful nations, the two biggest economies and to top it all off one can't exist without the other. IMO if a ww3 ever breaks out, look for USA and China to team up real quick and smash down everyone else.

Well, we definitely aren't buddy buddy. I don't see China working with us, but I don't see them working against us either.
