Looks like the refill is about $5.
I would bet you could just mix water with a little bleach to refill it though.

What a great anniversary gift! 😛

Make sure you get her a new vacuum clearner while you're at it and a new mop.

They love those.
😛

Or my favorite - just give her power tools. That way you're a good guy, AND you get new tools.

Man, I wonder how fat people will get in the future with stuff like this, and Roomba...

If they exercised more with the time they save it would balance out, but somehow I doubt that

Is it battery powered?

Probably, it'd be better if it used water-power from the shower head...

Wouldn't that require the shower being on?
If it were powered by the pressure of the water line it would require new plumbing. How would you route the water from the shower head to the device?

K.I.S.S.

edit:

And that's a problem how? I mean, sure it takes away <---> much of the "set it and forget it" factor, but like I said it'd work a LOT better. Pressure-batteries for the win.

It could also have a valve that turns itself off, though I'm sure it'd work better w/o it, but would require you to turn on and off the shower head.

Who would want a semi-automatic shower cleaner?

Seriously though. Your idea is not bad, but requires, plumbing, drywall work, and relaying tile. If I was going to do that much work, I would just manually clean my shower...

You didn't click the link, did you?

There is no plumbing/drywall/tile work necessary. Also, it would only require turning on the water, pressing a button, turning off the water X minutes later.

Looks to me like it only sprays 180 degrees not 360. Maybe the advertisers need to take some geometry classes?

Because i really doubt it cleans behind itself.
