best is subjective however, the scorpic owns in PVP because of its poision, cats are good for questing/soloing because of their fast attack speep

most hunters have many pets

what do you say anubis good idea or do you want to sap me? 🙂

I think that's a great idea too. If Anubis doesn't mind...

yea warlocs arent that tough. have a 70 priest and a 25 loc and the loc will get toasted pretty fast, at least with the priest i can bubble and not take any hits for a bit. a loc has to stand there and take it.

I hate rogues, in bg i stand no chance with rogues with my priest. if they sap you and stun you they can stand behind you and kill you and you wont even get a chance to do crap. it pisses me off to no end.

I just started a new toon, a Tauren hunter on the darkwing realm.

what is the best pet to get? i charmed a raptor for my first one, what should i get later on? a tiger from stranglevale?

Your lock is way too low to understand the overpoweredness 😛. When you realize that you can fear a mob until it dies and you never take a single point of damage... and that mob's elite... then you'll realize how powerful the class can be 😛. Even at level 19, my new lock can kick some rear. My 64 lock can kill most things with ease and since he plays with my 63 pally, it's just a joke.

Hunters are ridiculously easy to level too. The fact that you can kite most mobs that locks can't kill simply because they can't be feared makes them pretty powerful. For example, the two elite nagas in Zangarmarsh? My Hunter solo'd both of them (my rogue could only kill the caster). The caster was actually the hardest for my hunter... I had to constanly stay on the edge of her casting range haha.

Priest vs Rogue is harder when you're Alliance. I remember back when I used to PVP on my Dwarf Priest at 60... the only thing I had a problem with was undead rogues and a good warrior (that had good gear too). You got undead warriors that as a blacksmith could have 4 fear removals lol. But things are a bit different now with Cloak of Shadows and a smart rogue can avoid a Psychic Scream anyway. I can't give too much advice on beating a rogue since I haven't played a shadow priest in forevers, but one thing I can suggest is to try to make them blow Cloak of Shadows early. They'll probably try to do when you DoT em up enough it or else Vanish will be ineffective. Unfortunately a Shadowstep rogue will be problematic as you use fear to move the player away from you, but Shadowstep kinda counteracts that 😛.

I'm actually gunna go try out Shadowstep on the PTR. Too bad there's like no one on it... but you should join up on it and we can duel a bit for fun 🙂. I'm on US PVP.

We got anetheron down to 14% last night... would have downed but me and all the other melee dps died at 25% due to an infernal being dragged across the tank spot. boooo....

Our guild finally downed Vashj last night on our last attempt. Sadly, I died with her at 1% after being static charged with poison forming under me. Next up, Kael and Anetheron.

We are about to start reliquary of souls. This is the first boss I have been truly intimidated by in a long time. 🙁

That's one of my favorite boss fights. Only the first phase requires learning really, and there's only 30 seconds of trash to clear. Also you get to see big fat crits through the whole fight (12k ferocious bite crits, yum!)

Are the P2 and P3 challenges easier than they sound then? It just seemed like a lot to learn and there are plenty of places for people to screw up. Keep in mind that we raid twice a week and one of those nights includes MH in addition to BT. I am just hoping it doesn't take us 4 weeks to get him down.

the whole fight is a DPS race in 3 stages, stage 1 is DPSing him down before you run out of soak tanks because you cant heal, phase 2 is a DPS race to get him down before everyone runs out of mana and you cant heal anyone, phase 3 is a DPS race to out DPS the stacking dot

mastering phase 2 with the kicks and spellsteals is the hardest part, also if your shamans have the totem from SSC it maes LHW cost no mana (rank1) so they can keep healing wehn oom

P2-P3 just make sure you wait for seethe to go awat before DPSing and then just nuke nuke nuke

and yes you will see big numbers, 18K SB crits during deaden are interesting

phase 2 is all up to the tank and 2 interupters, everyone else is pretty much just dpsing. Phase 3 is even easier, its just up to the tank to do his job. phase 1 is the hard part, because it requires everyone to know what to do and not be a moron.

Anetheron downed last night 🙂

It was nice because we were missing 3 people who consistenly are in the top 5 for damage so I didn't think we had a chance. But on the 4th attempt we downed him. And I got the blade of infamy. Very cool night.

Now I just need that chest off of FL, and I'll be set for a while. We did manage to mine 3 epic gems last night.

what are you mainhanding? we DEed a Blade of savegry last night 😛
and mother droped 3x protector AGAIN

in the last month she has only droped 2 tokens that were NOT fucking protector

people dont even need that shit for offspec anymore and are taking it for the PVP turn in
yet every paly and every lock still needs their shoulders, i think a few priests do as well 🙁

Blade of infamy is a 2.60 speed, so its my new MH

went from:
MH: Talon of Azshara
OH: S1 offhand Sword

to

MH: Blade of Infamy
OH: S1 offhand Sword

Attainable Gear Upgrades:

Badge Chest/FL Chest
Badge Ring
Trinket from Heroic MgT
Offhand - Either from Heroic MgT or from ZA

(oh, I was #1 dps again)

I've done a couple Kara and a grull so far. Have gotten 3 purps (well 4 if you count the 1 bracer I took only to upgrade on it again later in the run) so far. It is nice with only 1 other dps clothie on the run since most of them have been running it awhile and just want badges or an odd item that has never dropped. Pretty much a shopping trip for lupi on those nights. 🙂

Have about 50 badges so far, think the first thing I'll pop for is the caster blade.
