/date works but not to the exact day and time. It gives you the amount of hours and months spent on the character.

I thought it was "/age". But it isn't very specific, only giving years and months old. :( I'll have to try /date and see what it says.

I stand corrected. /date is an unknown command. :(

If the AT guild starts GvG, I'll reinstall GW and monk for it.

I used to heal for a rank 9 guild, but, then again, my builds are probably ancient by now....

Would you also try PVE? I'd be willing to try GVG out. I really want to get to trying the personvperson in the Guild Hall.

Ah, you can always update your builds if you see that they don't work as well as you'd like. A lot of the builds depend on what campaigns you have but if you have them all, I'd say you're set. You just need to decide what you want to run. :)

Don't know about the trial.

Ok, thank you for the info. I'll see if I can find GW on sale somewhere.

So I think I've found the motivation to actually pick GW back up and play it regularly. I've owned the game since launch, and I have one character, who is only up to lvl12 at the moment. Lol
And of course, I've been a fool with attributes and other things, and got some help yesterday in game and now I'm on the right track.
Sadly, while I like being a Necromancer, my secondary profession was a retarded choice: Warrior. blah. A Necro/Warrior is a horrible combination. Will have to change that out when I have the chance later in the game.

Anyone want to play?

Oh, and are most of the missions designed for higher-level players, and thus should I focus on more questing before trying to go through with more missions?

I'm at work right now, but I'll be getting home and playing in about 3 hours. :)

The missions scale fairly well for the location. At the beginning of the game, they are challenging for a lvl 1, later missions are challenging for the average level in that area, etc.

There are different ways to go about it. If you want to level up, I think the fastest way is to go through and do all the quests and missions. If you want to get as far as you can (in terms of story line completion), do all the missions as fast as you can. My wife went through later and got bonus on all the missions after she had beaten the game.

When we need to level up a new char or pet, the other person will get their lvl 20 character and we'll run through the missions or quests real quick. We are pretty much past doing the story line on everything where a new character would be anyway. We don't do this for new areas we haven't been to yet though.

My main thing is I want to explore more of the world, outside of just the charred ascalon region. I want new skills! I need more Death Magic skills, especially more minion skills. But right now, my character will be relying too much on corpses to even do any damage to others. Bah.

There is plenty to explore. Espeically once you get addicted and try other campaigns. And new skills come along. Just play through the game. And "relying too much on corpses"? Sounds like you have a MM (minion master) in progress.

I do, but not quite there because well really... I have one minion skill, Animate Bone Horror. The other skills that rely on corpses I have are Putrid Explosion and Soul Feast. Since I am limited in my selection of skills, I really can't focus on minions just yet... and as I said, it feels like I will have to rely too much on corpses before I can even pose a threat in damage capabilities. Maybe that's just how a MM works...

So any other UK or Europe members here?

Otherwise I'll see if I can catch up with you guys over a weekend.
I'd be willing to help lower lev members in quests etc if wanted as well as the latter stuff.
My lev 20 Ele/Mes & Derv have reasonable builds I think :).

Aside from bone horrors and bone fiends, you'll be very limited on minion options in prophecies. To truly get a great experience with a MM, you need to have all of the campaigns. That gives you access to vampiric horrors, shambling horrors, and the big daddy of them all......Flesh Golem. :) Although flesh golem isn't necessary, he's kinda cool to look at. Please realize that even if you don't have access to a lot of these other minions, you can still do pretty well with just bone horrors. :) Just make sure that you take Blood of the Master so you can heal your minions. Bone fiends are something I've honestly never used. I'm sure that they work well but I've been more of a melee kinda guy when it comes to MM. A lot of people get tired of being a MM and rely more on the curses line for general play. They let one of the necro heroes(Olias, Livia, or Master of Whispers) do the MM work. This can have its advantages because the heroes have no problems using death nova on lots of minions whereas human players have more difficulty in picking out minions in a big battle.

BTW.... I want to join the ATOT guild, as long as it's a mixed (PvE/GvG) guild. How do I go about doing so?

When you are in the game, send a message to Alphonse Majere, Etheral Archanous, Genuine Elemental, or Xquic Blood Maiden. All can add you if you send a message to them. I'll be starting a new thread here pretty soon about posting everyone's character names, levels, what campaigns they have, etc.

I think a GW channel in Vent would be cool but I'm cool with it either way. Fenix, I'll leave it up to the others to decide if they'd like one or not. :) Thanks for the offer! BTW, what's your IGN? I'll add you to friends and help you some if you want. :)
