I'm liking these new maps. Most of the maps that shipped with the game were way to small, but these are actually decent sized so it feels more like BF rather than Call of Duty.

Unfortunately a lot of my buddies have moved away from BC2 so I'm looking for some new playmates who prefer Rush (I'll play some CQ, but I really prefer Rush) and really want to function as a tight-nit squad/team.
A lot of these new maps require a lot more teamwork than the other maps to have an effective attack squad in Rush - heck, I don't think I've even seen past the second set of MCOMs on Harvest because the defense has always won the handful of times I have played.
Let me know if you're interested, doesn't matter to me what rank/skill level you have as long as you're willing to play for the team we can help each other out and have a lot more fun.
for me they are too large. just boring (Harvest day(acceptable) and heavy metal(complete crap)). I like Oasis but it's still rather big and the upper part of the map is in many games not really used. And I mean with 32 players.
Can you imagine Snowblind with FF on.Oasis rocks the most , they are all are so different in gameplay.
New maps are nice and all but I find them to be quite difficult on conquest. There's just very little cover so once your spotted and not near a building then you're pretty done for. These open maps make me miss prone more than anything. Sadly since everyone is in a tank/vehicle the only class usually worth using in most instances is engineer.
They do however work very well on my system. These maps actually give me the best performance. I guess that's due to a lack of many of the 'wind' elements like snow/dust.
I finally played the new update and sights on G3 is awesome. I pwn everyone with it.
I'm having a problem with screen freezes, so I thought I'd ask for some tips. I'm getting essentially 0fps for a second or two every ten minutes. My GPU usage drops to about 70% during that time (from 100%), and my CPU drops a similar amount during the exact same period.
Here's what I've changed to try to fix the problem:
(1) tried Catalyst versions 10.5, 10.6, 10.9, 10.10, and 10.11
(2) updated punkbuster
(3) changes audio settings from War Tapes to Hi-fi
(4) disabled hyperthreading
(5) changed virus scanner from AVG to Microsoft
One thing I've noticed is that since the update, one of my cores is pegged at 100% the whole time (except during the momentary screen freeze) while the others are under 50%. As long as I can remember before the latest update, I'd never have any cores hit 100% at any point in the game. I wonder if somehow a single core is getting hit with too high a load. Not necessarily the cause, but a clue?
It is definitely more frequent since the BC2 update, but it's possible it happened a few times before the update. Ideas?
Much different problem from what I was having. However disabling windows defender fixed my problems pretty quickly.

Ok, I'll try that. Thanks.

Looks like there are still numerous issues. EA Connection problems and Lag still persist.
That was like 5 days ago ... I never have any connection problems and only lag out once
in a great while on some overloaded 32 player servers.
I wish they would figure out whats going on and help the group of people who are having these problems....
