So what servers do you guys frequent around here? Like most, I think, I usually go for the highly populated/low ping ones. But was just wondering if anyone had a few suggestions or even an AT one.

I play on =eGo= or DAGL....or SEXY they are in my favorites and pretty populated usually. I want to get home to try out that red dot sight on the m14 *drool*

Thanks Squirrel. The M14 is pretty sweet with the RDS, still a good amount of recoil from it though...or maybe that was the G3. Nice having the options for those 2 now.

i have in on 64 bit windows, i had the same probs, i updated punkbuster. problem solved. remove pb all together then fresh reinstall. its punkbuster.

Yeah I just did that. Deleted the pb folder in bc2 folder and downloaded pbsetup to reinstall. Installed just fine, went to play and a few mins later I'm back at desktop =/

Is there some other PB location I should be wiping also?

Yes I'm running the latest video card drivers

did you run the removal tool pb offers? (i think they offer one)

Not sure if it'll help but have you tried disabling your anti-virus and firewall software? I know many of these apps have a gaming mood which will temporarily disable them.

Also, do you have PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe running as processes in your Windows Task Manager?

ok I uninstalled the PB Service from the control panel and reinstalled it from the pbsvc_bc2 file in the BC folder. Played for a little bit and a few minutes I got kicked out again, BUT! Windows Defender had a message about PnkBstrB file and sending it to MS. So I've disabled Windows Defender and played for about 20m so far without being kicked! Hopefully that's the end of it

Well I'm still crashing after reinstalling/updating PB. Fresh install of a 32bit Windows 7, still crashes. Run GPU fans @ 100% with case side open, still crashes. Run CPU at stock speed, still crashes.

Nothing I do fixes it besides put my settings on low, and then it looks like shit.

No other game crashes like this, and I've played plenty.

I love the G3 with RDS, haven't yet tried it with ACOG. The G3 has always been hard to tame because of its massive recoil so you basically have to treat it like a semi auto and fire off one shot at a time and let it settle between shots. The iron sights are clean and thus seem like they should be good but are far easier to lose track of in the heat of battle, the RDS allows me to reacquire targets so much faster and accurately in between recoils I feel like I can now actually go toe to toe with other assault rifles now.

Played the 3 Rush Maps and think they're all garbage. Cold War - unbalanced teams just empty the server since you can barely stay a live after spawning. The other two maps, you can take all of the mcoms out by tank sniping.

the lag is making it unplayable, anyone know any fixes? I have a 15mb/s connection and always hook up with the lowest ping populated server but always experience a lot of lag, starting to feel like the console version a while ago.

Heavy Metal is *amazingggggggg*. I love owning apache noobs in the blackhawk! And yes, Oasis is a shotgun fest, which is so fun. It's one of the few maps where you don't find five gillie suits sitting in spawn.

What do you guys think of Harvest Day? I'm a little on the fence right now because it is so open, but it feels like there are a limited number of vehicles. Maybe I'm just playing with tardo teams...

edit: I'm talking about the conquest layouts, btw.

edit2: Also, I'm thankfully getting no lag or performance issues. Since the update, I've had one CTD and one PB kick.

Played Oasis last night and it reminded me a lot of Strike at Karkand. So much constant action. I love it. Harvest Day was pretty awesome too...huge map.
