Gah that sucks. I really want a way to try this game out. I'm not into buying games without trying them any more. Get disappointed too much now-a-days.

Steam keys are up! Double click the game to launch and you'll get a dialogue box with your key :)

Mine is really crapping out in the home stretch. 87kbs with only 4% left :O

I still have to install the new Nvidia drivers with the BFBC2 SLI profile after that.

Yeah, I think I'm just going to pre-order it after work and be done. That footage sold me. Q6600 and 4670 aren't too high specs and game looks great.

Servers are a bit laggy and the server browser is lacking - however they've said that that's on the list to be improved, so I'm optimistic.

No commo rose or spotting system seems to be in place yet but voice comms are in and they sound very good for an FPS.

Graphics are *Excellent* and the game runs smoothly for me - e8400/8GB Ram/HD4890

No Steam overlay, which is a bummer, so no coordinated games yet, it seems. Full squad system in place though, although I don't think anyone knows how to use it yet.

There's a full ranking system in place but I'm 99% sure it's not active yet. As you rank up, you unlock different guns for each of the four kits - but you probably already knew that :)

I've been looking at beta gameplay videos a good bit today. Looks awesome and I'm really tempted to go ahead and pre-order just to play the beta.

In the video posted previously, I heard the guy spotting, even though it was in Russian, I recognized the words from BF2142.

I read somwhere that ranking wasn't working unless you were in a squad. You might want to check that out.

I saw this pic on another forum and thought it was funny to recognize a fellow AT'er in the player list!

Gameplay is a bit laggy as well. Auto join servers suck, puts me into a server from Australia all the time. Sensitivity takes a little bit of adjusting. Player sens seem to high and vehicle seems a bit low. I like it so far. I can run everything maxed out, 8xAA, 16xAF, 1900x1200 but it drops when things get a bit too crazy so i bumped it down to 2xAA and 4xAF

Yeah, it is laggy - and with no way to sort through the browser by ping, things are for sure hit and miss.

I'm also trying to figure out how to use the drone properly - any insights into that? It seems like the reload time is crazy long.

Well the beta still has a while to go so they may fix it. I'm just glad I got a beta key without preordering. I feel like a winner!
